Wow! Cows and Sluggers both 3-0 and leading the league in offense.

This is my first attempt at a power hitting team. I might enjoy watching them more than my small-ball teams.

11 runs against Scherzer ...not bad.

I'm trying not to let an opening series sweep get my hopes too high.

I'm betting you'll be throwing three lefties at me tomorrow night. That will help neutralize my left handed bats but I've still got some BP chances against you (15 from the left side). I'll be trotting out two lefties to turn around your switch hitters. You'll probably decimate Verlander, though.

Our division just might break all kinds of records for offense. Probably some pitching records too but not the kind you want to be known for!

I'll take 26 runs per series...I am not sure who that Scherzer impersonators is- - I just put up 16 runs against him (part of it is owner's setting--I think he has it set so Scherzer does not come out when he is fatigued, so it becomes batting practice at that point). You're in luck you get to face a righty--Weaver. Showdown with the 5-1 Cows is tonight.
Surprisingly, I am ahead 3-1 over the 97 win team in the play-off. I thought I had a decent shot as my team was finally completely healthy and I had a ton of injuries this year. (I think I had 5 guys injured for the max 15 games on the season). But it ain't over...

I'm rooting for you in those playoffs - keep it going.

Thanks for the righty, although he is a reverse guy. Hmmmph.

The Sluggers survived some late-inning meltdowns to win the series 2-1. Wasn't particularly happy to see Price and Hamels pitch late in games when Chapman and Uehara were available. Have to try and tweak that...still scored 15 runs but gave 12. Good, competitive series.

And naturally Weaver was dominant . Go figure.

Indeed, good series.

I've got some tweaking to do as well. In game 3 Quintana should not have pitched past the first batter in the 9th. He was at F8 and gave up a single. He stayed in for 3 more batters at F6 and gave up the game winner to Davis at F0. I guess it's because I have him on slow-hook but still - tie ballgame in the bottom of the 9th with men on? None of my relievers were fatigued. Give me a break.

It is nice to have a team that can come back from a multiple run deficit. I like this club.

You're still up 3-2 in your playoff series. One more, Freeman!

Aha, I also don't have a designated reliever for 'Tied 9th+'. Fixed.

I guess I am going to stick with f8 and try quick hook. You would think that Hal would bring in Uehara in a one-run game but he didn't. If that doesn't work, I might just take out the f8 designation. Before, I have had better starters and a thin relief staff so i wanted the starters to stay in, but I have three pretty good relievers so I need to change these settings some.

Congrats - you're in the finals!

Unfortunately, you're going up against the guy who's won like every Redscape league, but anything can happen, right?!

I won 5-4 and the Pups had the bases loaded with Chapman on the mound...
Yeah, Strat has been unbeatable but If I can avoid injuries I have a shot...who would have thought I would beat the 98 win team? ( btw the owner of the Pups is another strat veteran)
In another news, my team in in the new league has come crashing down to earth...

I am trying, I am trying...but he seems to be almost unbeatable at this game --3 championships in a row . But I am up 3-2!
