Hoyt sheds his last wear at 160 on the outside. Kay does the same and sets up a three-wide.

Dygert keeps the pace at 120 and the bonus. Note: The #3 car marker is in the wrong spot. He was behind Hoyt.

Needham gets the initiative and scrubs his last wear on the outside of the Parabolica. MacDonald, at 160, burns his last wear and tosses 2s onto the chance table (modified 5).

Turn 37 Summary

Kay pushes to 200 with 2s but not when boxcars come up (modified 10). A podium lost.

McConchie keeps his engine under control at 180 for 2nd place. Hoyt pushes to 180 (natural 4) for 3rd place. Kay has to settle for a disappointing 4th.

Dygert takes 5th at 160 and the bonus.

MacDonald pushes to 200 with 2s (modified 2) and grabs 6th place. Rando keeps it in check at 180 for 7th.

Blanchett pops his last wear at 140 in the Parabolica and will finish in 8th after the following: T38 - 140; T39 - 160.

Kay made a run through the final 2 sectors but it wasn't enough to close on Hudson who lead the field to the checkers by almost 8 seconds.
