Did anyone see the press conference with Governor Christie regarding his nomination of a Muslim-American to the New Jersey Supreme Court? He praised his nominee for defending Muslims inappropriately detained by the FBi after September 11, said it was crazy to be talking about Sharia law with regard to the nominee, and said the criticism of the nominee was due to ignorance. Give the governor credit for doing what was right here, even if his comments cost him politically.

I guess we will know when the first case of an individual's rights under the constitution conflict with Sharia's freedom of religion, won't we.
