All kidding aside...

What is the perception of the caucus process among my Democratic friends? Having been in a local caucus in Washington State, I would say that a straight vote is much more clear. The caucus system is an opening for chaos such as this.

What do my Dem compatriots have to say about the fiasco this year.

(I do not think it is only the Dems, BTW. I recall Santorum in 2012...)

I'm not a democrat and I've never participated in a caucus, so I may not be the right person to weigh in here, but a caucus seems akin to a poor man's ranked choice voting, and since there is now a ranked choice voting model, why not just do that?
