Too early to say? Allow me to take a stab.

I believe somewhere in a previous post the good Dr. Fate made an interesting point about Agent Orange that I would like to pick up here.

Whether you love him, hate him or are completely neutral on Trump, he has accomplished something that perhaps no other US President has done so far and so effectively.

Trump has exposed national American politics and its many players for what they really are...namely, a massive, privileged, conniving, deceitful, jar of unconscionable, self absorbed, self centered, self serving maggots.

Specifically, this group is comprised of the press, government agencies, his own party and of course, his rivals both here and abroad. He himself is no exception to this pile of rotting decay. He is in many ways its current personification. Nevertheless, he has managed to both intentionally and unintentionally illuminate, in letters writ large for even the common American to see, just how disgusting the core of national American politics really is, and politics in general.

It is because of his Presidency, that I now know with certitude, that lying is simply a political tool alongside all other political tools that might be called upon to advance one's cause or agenda. I've always suspected this was the case, but prior to Agent Orange, I naively assumed that truth still played a role within the realm of national politics. That is no longer the case. It does not.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, I am still naive enough to believe that local politics continues on the whole, not to have succumbed to the same squalor and decadence. Though I'm probably wrong about that too.

So, President Agent Orange's legacy?

1. National politics and national politicians and all who move in their circles are corrupt and
2. Lying is considered by this same cesspool to be a political tool used in advancing an agenda.

Thank you Mr. President for your legacy. At least now I know.

In general I think you are correct, but I also think there are many good people in politics. Often good people have to make compromises because of the system. Certainly some are better able to hold onto their ideals (McCain) than others (H. Clinton). I believe that both were idealistic when they first started, but Hillary lost her way.

For what it's worth, based on my own experiences, local politics are just as bad ...

When I quickly read your post the first time, I thought the headline was "Presidential Library". I recommend one with no books of any kind, but lots of video ... continuous fox news ... a fake newsroom ... maybe some porn ... it should be in Las Vegas, and there should be separate "presidential rooms" where you can be serviced like a billionaire, for a fee.

Yes! The Trump Presidential Lie-berry! Great ideas, RJ. All profits would be donated to Trump, Inc., a non non-profit organization. There would be one book of course: The Art of the Deal. Rooms would be done by color. A Green Room for all his financial dealings; The Silver (spoon) Room for the origins of the family fortune; the Pink Room for those he sexually harassed; a White Room detailing his white supremacist statements/ policies; the Brown Room for his dealings with Mexico, building the wall, etc; the Yellow Room detailing his war with North Korea; the Black Room detailing his non-relationship with the black community, the non-accomplishments of Dr. Carson in his administration, his statement blaming "many sides" for what happened at Charlottesville, etc. ; the Red Room for all things Russian; the Blue Room for pro-pollution policies changing the color of the the water and air; and the Orange Room on the president's skin and hair;

Why do you think this is the case?
How do you change it?

You were the guy who said Trump would cause change... "Drain the swamp." Its understandable that you are disappointed by being conned...
But if all Trump did was
Trump has exposed national American politics and its many players for what they really are...namely, a massive, privileged, conniving, deceitful, jar of unconscionable, self absorbed, self centered, self serving maggots.

then the conditions existed before Trump no?
Why?
What, In your opinion, causes this?
