Well, according to the article, it sounds like the majority of the people don't really care. Considering they aren't showing up to Tahir Square anymore.

I thought that the Copts were protesting at Tahrir Square when the violence broke out.

There were demonstrators there a couple of weeks ago: http://uk.reuters.com/article/2011/10/0 ... 0R20111001 Apparently Sean Penn was there too.

He deserved to be arrested and put away for "Tree of Life" anyway. god he was horrible.

Are you sure this is the case. I have been reading a number of articles and I haven't seen one that specifies the location more then in front of a state run tv building in the center of town.

Another interesting point is the military has taken the investigation into the causes of the violence over from the civilian prosecutor. When added to the fact the SCAF has already tried and convicted 12,000 civilians by military tribunal, it seems to indicate less and less of a chance of a liberal democracy emerging from Egypt's Arab Spring.
