As expected, a lot of dice as the main pack reaches the finish line

Turn 45 summary:
Incorpora seals second at 140
Haskell pushes his acceleration to 160 and claims P3
Benham does the same to finish a close fourth

Mossman has to tax his engine for 180 and it responds
Ingraham also pushes hard but then needs heavy braking to avoid the 3-wide
Baker exits the final corner at 100 and keeps to the inside
Orlandi's aggressive move last turn lets him maintain 120 and pull even with Baker

Kennard comes through the second racing line at 80
Brown follows at 100 to challenge for P9
Beckman uses both racing lines at 100 shedding one wear

NOTE: The remaining 5 drivers will finish on turn 46. Therefore as soon as I have all 5 moves I will put out the final turn.

Next deadline: turn 46 due Monday, September 20 at 4pm EDT/8pm UTC

More dice, one failure, but in the end no positons changed

Turn 46 summary:
Baker pushes both acceleration and top speed and claims P7
Orlandi's engine is not so kind and it falls apart as he crosses the line
Kennard gets a slip after his push but it's still not enough to pass the gray car

Brown declines to push his already damaged engine. A slip keeps him in the final points position
Beckman hits the gas hard, why not?

This wraps up the first race of season 8. There is a "post-race comments" section in the forum
for those that wish to post.
There is no firm date for race 2, but it is expected to start mid-October.

Blizzard cross the line with a nice lead. The top 3 speeds through segment 3 were very tight.
