Half the fun of the Superbowl is watching the new commercials, the one above (Nationwide Insurance) was a real downer!
But overall I thought the ads pretty much sucked,

The group I was with thought the Snickers ad with bad-ass Danny Trejo as Marcia Brady was a riot!
But I see almost no mention of that among the talking heads who have been talking about these things.

since we have some football fans reading this thread,
I almost laughed out loud when reading the following...

I am a Bills fan, so I pay attention to Bills news
We all know Marrone left as head coach. Here is his spin on leaving
"My family and I made a decision to opt out. It brought us here. For me, when I look at it, the decision was made. But when people start putting in things like 'quit' or things like that, that's not the case at all."

"At the end of the day, I had a three-day window on my contract which was obviously difficult because of the time aspect of it," Marrone said. "My family and I made a decision to leave.

so he didn't quit, he simply chose to leave?
a local fan tweeted the following:
"I didn't quit; I discovered there was nothing stopping me from leaving."

When he left, there were several head coaching jobs open.

I'm guessing he probably thought he could get out of Buffalo and get an equal (or better, since there were some very promising jobs open at that time) position.

Then one by one, all those jobs got filled and Marrone was on the outside looking in..and he's now an assistant in Jacksonville. That's a massive step down for him. So I think he screwed up bigtime.

Your quote of him trying to explain away his error is pretty amusing, though. Nice try, Doug.
