It's that time of year again and I know we have a good number of college BB fans here. How about some predictions before and after the brackets are unveiled?

Being from outside Syracuse I'm pulling for them and the Big East in general, what a friggin powerhouse conference, especially this year! Even though Pitt lost to UConn, I'm going to probably pick them to go all the way. Depending on match-ups, Syracuse has a real good shot with their younger players starting to really jell and they should be a tough out.

North Carolina is peaking at the right time as well, gotta like them at this point.
No love for BYU or San Diego State, not from me anyways, they should certainly be ranked high but they have such a lesser schedule, they just don't compare to the power conferences (though not bad teams, just not as good as their records and rankings would indicate)

Duke has always been my team. Coach K is the master and his coaching skills can make the difference in a close game. The lack of a big man is a concern, though.

The Dukies are kinda-sorta like Syracuse, by that I mean they can go all the way to the end, or they could end up getting knocked out in round two and anywhere in-between, depends on what team shows up.
But (me being a die hard Syracuse fan remember) while Coach K is a very very good coach, Boeheim is right there AND he doesn't get the same talent coming in year after year after year, he gets some good talent of course but not McDonald's All Americans like Duke gets, he has to coach his team to get the most out of them and he should get more credit for that. (it's that sourpuss face of his I think, the guy is a real nice guy and kind and warm (as is Coach K) but that face of his never seems happy!

Um, congratulations, Brad????

No one picked a single Final Four Team? Brad had one Elite Eight Team?

Sad times.

Go Butler!

But you submitted two teams. You've got to average your results, which clearly puts you middle of the pack, or simply disqualify yourself. I'll take that trophy, thank you very much. And everyone can send their tourney entrance fee via paypal or check directly to me. Cash if you'd like to hand deliver it. Just let me know . . .

Well, your glory (such as it is) is greatly diminished.

The way the brackets went this year, we should all put in 5 next year just so the winner doesn't look so bad.

THAT I agree with. I was very sheepishly accepting the accolades, such as they are...
