Well, I just became a first-time grandpa. Our second-oldest boy, Donovan (and his wife Erin), gave birth to a boy this morning: Logan Raymond McGrath. Now I will become that which I've feared: one of those people with baby pictures hung on walls at work, buying children's toys and books, and talking nonstop about the grand kid. UGH!

Well, I'll really try to avoid most of that. But I had to get this out of my system. Thousands of pictures to follow!

Just kidding.

closing in on you myself, but the girls are not married yet so I am in no real hurry!
and while we certainly don't want you posting "thousands of pictures", I don't think ONE would be all that awful, the proud Grandpa is able to do at least that?

Thanks, everybody. I managed to crop a photo of Logan enough to let me upload it. All that's left is most of his head, I'm afraid. He's got a head of hair, along with his eyebrows.

Congratulations, George. Hope you enjoy grandparenthood. Not had any kids myself, so have to content myself with uncledom (which is pretty cool, as you are allowed to wind them up before handing back to your sibling :-) )

In loosely related news, I also passed a milestone. Got married to Jasmin on 24 May in New Orleans.

Congrats Danivon. So now the next questions should start. When are you going to have kids of your own

Let them practice a few times without being impatient. Sheesh!

We've been together for over 11 years. Practice is not an issue, and we are not intending to have kids.

Ah, so that's where you've been ... good to see that you weren't posting on your honeymoon.

Best of luck to you and Jasmin! May you fill each other's hearts with joy and love.

To be honest I wasn't minded to when I did pop in to have a read. But that was not very often - New Orleans is a great place to be!

Best of luck to you and Jasmin! May you fill each other's hearts with joy and love.

Thanks, RJ. Much appreciated.
