9 drivers push, 8 pass

Turn 1 summary:
Peeples comes off the line at 120 and starts the green line.
Bauska is satisfied with his 100 start, grabbing Peeples' wing.
Schulz also does not push, lining up behind the gray machine.
Kennington is the other driver that does not handle the dice. At 60 he loses two lengths to Schulz.

Kennard holds position at 40.
Baker misses the opening shift and fails to move.
Haskell keeps to the inside at 40.
Burnett remains to the outside of the red race car at 40.

Blizzard's 80 start moves him up three positions.
Brandt maintains his position inside the stalled car of Baker.
Miller avoids said motionless vehicle at 80 and brings up an early three wide.
Brown is at the tail end of the field at 40.

Quite a bit of jostling mid-pack

Turn 2 summary:
Peeples rounds the green line and sets up in the middle for the next corner.
Bauska is through the inner red line for one wear, taking the bonus he opts for the outside instead of the lead.
Schulz follows the gray machine through the corner but even with the slip he loses a car length.
Kennington is also conservative through Nordkurve, taking the inner line at 120 for free.

Blizzard runs hard into the corner at 140 on the green racing line.
Kennard's acceleration brings him to 100 and onto the green line, eventually losing four positions.
Miller can reach 140 with no dice, setting up on the inside he advances his position by three.
Haskell does 120 and starts the red line inside Kennard.

Burnett pushes his engine. His engineer can only shake his head as he watches the telemetry from the car.
(Note: he is not on either racing line)
Brandt gets a slip from the red race car, he runs to the outside and picks up the green line.
Baker gets moving at 20 starting towards the inside.
Brown slides past Baker on the inside at 100.

NOTE: There are 13 drivers in C1, and one driver dropped out of C3. In order to get back to 12 drivers per circuit, there will be 5 relegations from C1 and C2 at the end of the season. (Note the Points chart)

A three car break at the front

Turn 3 summary:
Peeples sheds two wear through the 80s at 120 to maintain P1.
Bauska does not fight Peeples, instead dropping one wear in the 80s and falling in behind.
Schulz leaves two wear in the 80s at 120 and tucks in behind the gray machine.
Kennington keeps pace for now with at 120 move into the 80s for two wear.

Blizzard slows to 120 and approaches the corner in the middle lane.
Miller cedes one wear to the 100 space at 120.
Burnett takes the more conservative move of 100 on the inside of the corner, eventually costing him two positions.
Kennard improves his position by two around the green line at 140 for free.

Haskell is down two spots into P10 running the inner red line at speed.
Brandt is up two spots at 140 through the green racing line and the slip.
Brown takes the green line for free.
Baker uses his full acceleration to reach 120 and follow Brown, using the slip to keep up.

Quite a battle for P5-P10

Turn 4 summary:
Peeples hits his top speed of 160 down the back straight.
Bauska follows up with a 160, using the slip to pull even with the leader.
Schulz uses his top speed and a slip to keep pace.
Kennington maintains 120 to finish the 80s.

Blizzard drops one wear in the 80s at 100.
Kennard sheds two wear doing 120 through the 80s.
Brandt also is two wear lighter after taking the 80s at 120 as well.
Miller anticipates the wall in front of him, using the 60 and 80 at 80 for one wear.

Haskell leaves two wear in the 80s at 120 and keeps up with the pack.
The 60/80 combination costs Burnett two wear and allows him to fill the gap beside Haskell.
Brown hits the 60 at 100 making him the fifth driver to spend two wear this turn.
Baker is ready for the corner in the middle lane.

The leaders are 3-wide into the hairpin with a group of 7 approaching right behind them

Turn 5 summary:
Peeples maintains speed and position at 160
Bauska stays right with the leader also at 160.
Schulz gets the bonus at 160 to pull even.
Kennington pushes his top speed to 180 successfully.

Kennard fires down the straight at 180 to the inside.
Brandt remains to the outside of the green race car.
Blizzard maxes his engine at 160.
Haskell does 180 and gets the double slip from Kennard to move up 4 positions from 9th to 5th.

Burnett is the recipient of a double slip as well, taking up position on the outside.
Miller's acceleration is good for 140, the slip keeping him on Blizzard's tail.
Brown can accelerate to 120, wear already paid.
Baker drops one wear in the 80s at 100.

For the first time this season Peeples is not leading the race

Turn 6 summary:
Peeples sheds two wear around the 80s all the way, jumping onto the racing line at the exit.
Bauska starts the 80s then moves to the racing line dropping two wear and moving into P1.
Schulz also surrenders two wear around the 80s at 120 to maintain the 3-wide.
Kennington finally has company as he approaches the hairpin on the line.

Haskell does 160 and chooses the outside lane.
Kennard holds the pedal at 180 and has to keep inside.
Brandt tries to keep at 180 but the wall in front of him forces him to lean on the brakes.
Burnett slows slightly to 140, the bonus allowing him to keep up.

Blizzard keeps at his top speed of 160 to keep the group intact.
Miller's 160 plus the slip puts him even with Blizzard.
Brown opens up to 180 down the straight.
Baker maxes at 160.

Brake damage up front and a jumble through the hairpin

Turn 7 summary:
Bauska starts at 160 then tries a naked late brake. A sudden grab and release and he knows they're almost gone.
Schulz follows with a 160 move of his own, babying his late brake with one wear.
Peeples holds a steady 120 and falls in behind Schulz.
Kennington hits the hairpin 80s at 120 shedding two wear but retaking P4.

Kennard leans on his brakes and they respond. He runs the middle onto the second line for two wear.
Haskell starts the 80s at 100 then shifts to the second racing line dropping one wear.
Burnett has the initiative at 100 running the 60s and leaving two wear behind.
Brandt is at 100 also, ceding one wear through the 80s and onto the second racing line.

Miller clears the hairpin through the 80s at 120 scrubbing off two wear.
Blizzard plots 100 and has no choice, it's one wear through the 80s but he doesn't clear.
Brown approaches the hairpin on the line at 120.
Baker maintains 160, making up two car lengths on Brown.

Note: including Brad's penalty there were 13 wear points and 2 skill points used this turn.
