Surely one of the more interesting turns to adjudicate, but I think I got it right.

Turn 16 summary:
Pellegrino plots 140 then brakes to 120 with a wear and drops two more wear on the racing line.
Benham starts at 120 for the line but with the purple machine already there uses a wear to get to 100 behind it.
Marvin approaches the corner on the inside at 120.

Peeples uses a slip to wow the crowd with a pass of Marvin and a successful chance roll to take the lead on the inside.
Mossman's 120 move puts him on the line behind Benham.
Rae is also at 120 and the bonus puts him in the only space available, the outside..

Pellegrino continues the racing line at 120 and tucks in behind the leader.
Marvin drops two wear in the corner 2 inside lane and joins the line ready for corner 3.

NOTE: The roll for the lap 3 grid was 2, the grid will be set in reverse order of RROC points. (The roll was sent to Mike P. who is also the person that has been verifying my moves)

Turn 25 summary:
Pellegrino slows to 120 and approaches corner 11 on the line.
Peeples also reaches the corner on the inside at 140.
Benham stays attached to the purple race car.

Mossman gets a slip from Marvin, using it to drop to the inside.

As expected, it looks like a tight, exciting finish to lap 2

Turn 27 summary:
Peeples finishes the corner through the middle and then moves inside.
Rae comes out of the three-wide at 120 and brakes into the outer/inner combination for his last wear.
Pellegrino follows the gray car at 100 finishing on his skirt.

Mossman wants to clear the corner at 100; the only path available for that is inner/outer 80s for one wear.
Marvin gets his machine pointed in the right direction and "speeds" off at 20.

A lot of dice, and not everyone is happy

Turn 28 summary:
Peeples' last two wear get him clear of the 60s at 100 and the lap win.
Rae starts at 120 then leans on the brakes hard, taking the 100s for free.
Pellegrino had plans for the 100s but now must also depend on his brakes for the 80 lane.

Benham tries a big move which would have brought him into P2, instead it leaves him a wreck on the inside of the corner.
Mossman dives into the 60s dropping his last two wear and looking at a possible P2 lap finish.
Marvin can't buy a break as he manages 100 out his car only to spin yet again.

Next deadline: turn 29 due Monday, August 10 at 4pm EDT/8pm UTC

Note on Benham damage: Repairs to his existing damage are all optional. For the crash damage he may roll up to twice with a roll of 1-5 regaining 20mph. The brake damage may be automatically repaired. Here's the tricky part, since the field will be inverted for the start of lap 3, he is currently the pole sitter for the lap (finishing last). If he does nothing he is guaranteed to start on the pole. If he repairs brakes and does nothing else, he will start behind any car that does nothing. If he repairs brakes AND moves a build point, he will start behind any car that does nothing OR moves a build point. If he attempts crash repairs, regardless of success, he will start 6th. If he attempts crash repairs and fails one or both dice rolls he may either join the race with the existing damage, starting 6th or spend another turn in the pits making another two rolls (this is all covered in rules 8 & 9).

Note: Just a heads up, I'm having an outpatient procedure Monday morning. It should not affect the turn, but you might want to check the results closely Monday :)

A shoot out for P2-P4 coming up

Turn 29 summary:
Peeples glides across the s/f line to win the lap and maintain the points lead.
Rae finishes the 100s and drops to the inside.
Mossman paid to finish the 60s at 100 and slides down in front of the gray car.

Pellegrino comes through the 80s and sets up at the tail of the line.
Marvin's awesome 20 start speed gets him one space closer to a refreshement break.
Tow-mater brings the yellow machine back to the crew with the hammers and saws.
