Five punters arrived with $50,000 in hand. Not all left with it...
1st John W. ($204,500)
2nd Don T. ($187,000)
3rd Mike P. ($163,000)
4th Chris K. ($8,000)
5th Josh C. ($3,000)

- Race 1: Rotunda by a mile for the win. Lucky Old Sun to place and Eight Ball, a surprising show at 10-1 odds.

- Race 2: A long-shot, Spelling Bee wins by a length. Nothing Special places. Sammurai prevents another long-shot from hitting the podium, beating Peace Corps by a nose for show.

- Race 3: A huge, 10-length win by Stampede at 8-1. Dunce Cap and Egg Yolk place and show respectively.

- Race 4: A typical tight race for the 2-year maidens. Adam's Apple, Hot Spook, and Crime Wave get the podium.

- Race 5: The wily veteran aboard Cockroach noses out the apprentice riding Slow Molasses. Lobster Tail shows.

- Race 6: Hannibal rolls over the field hitting the bonus several times. Mona Lisa grabs 2nd and Leyte Gulf noses out Jungle Monarch for the show.

Jockey don Tatum was arrested by track security in the jockey room after last race for use of electrical device on hannibal in the 6 th . Patrol judges saw him drop out of his left hand the device was recovered. All purse money will be held up during the investigation.Tatum has served many suspensions in his days riding.Including but not limited to;;over use of a whip,dangerous riding,
,attempt to fix races, not finishing on a horse because it could not win. Tatum has long been suspected
of using a mouse(electrical device),but this is fist time he has been charged. Tatum is from alabama but learned to ride in the wild and rough cajun country bush tracks ,where any thing goes.
