The podium shapes up but there are still some battles to resolve in the back of the field.

Turn 43 Results

Kubala clears the T13/14 complex at 80. Benham, also at 80, gets hung up and will have to let the leader go.

Fritz runs T11 on the line at 60. Snouffer over brakes to 60 w/ 2s (modified 7) and stays on the bumper of the Dr. Pepper Toyota.

Harley closes in on T11 at 140. Harrington maintains 100 in anticipation of coasting towards the slow corner ahead.

Weisen goes outside in T10 at 140. Hoyt, at 140 and the bonus, slides to the inner portion of T10. Bernhardt makes it three-wide at 160, as he goes inside on T9. This is not a true 3-wide as Weisen's space is advanced.

Bauska runs T8 for free at 100 and opts for the inside route.

Turn 44 Hard Deadline: Thursday, December 26th @ 7 a.m. EST (12 noon GMT)
Note: If all plots are in, I may be able to adjudicate early.

Considerably slower through sector 2 this lap; dwindling wear and caution the reason.

This race is wrapping up soon with not much left to determine.

Turn 45 Summary

Kubala finishes out the final turn at 100 and is poised for the checkered flag.

Benham & Fritz enter the last turn at 100 each with two car lengths between them.

Snouffer finishes T12 at 80. Harley is one car length behind, also at 80.

Bernhardt drops half his remaining wear in the T11 40 spot at 80 before entering T13. Harrington takes the line at 60 for free.

Hoyt goes into the 40 at 60 w/ 1sp on the chance roll (modified 9). He spins in the corner! Weisen follows the purple car on the line at 60 for free.

Bauska's third NPR puts him out of the race. With no wear to pay the penalty, he both spins and suffers brake damage. As the brakes were previously damaged, they finally give out.

Two more cars come home and the rest of the positions are almost determined. Probably one more turn and then I'll auto-adjudicate the rest of the race.

Turn 47 Summary

Benham takes 2nd at 160. Fritz crosses in 3rd at 140.

Scarpino exits the final turn at 100. Harley is ready to sprint next turn after going inside rail in the last corner. Bernhardt knocks down his last 2 wear at 140 on the outside.

Harrington goes outer rail at 100 for free. Weisen NPR's at 100 but with no wear to pay the penalty, he both spins and suffers brake damage.

Hoyt gets his car going 60.

Sorry for the lateness - at a conference in San Diego (awww) so it's hard to find time.

I can't quite auto-adjudicate yet.

Turn 48 Summary

Snouffer rolls across the finish line, comfortably in 4th place.

Harley successfully pushes his beleaguered engine to save 5th place (naked 7). Bernhardt takes 6th after pushing his top speed w/ 2s (modified 4).

Harrington comes out of the final turn at 100. Weisen is limited to 40 mph from his spin recovery and goes middle. He can go 80 next turn.

Hoyt approaches the final turn at 80. Will he do anything drastic next turn?
