Welcome drivers to Redscape Season 6, Race 1, at the Buddh track in New Dheli, India. This is the official call for builds for the race.
We welcome four promotions to the C1 ranks:
Tim Mossman - t3mmossman@yahoo.com
Mario Ales - c.five@tiscali.it
Dave Blizzard - davebliz.ssi@gmail.com
Claudio Orlandi - cludiorlandi@libero.it
as we say good luck to Doug, Rando, Fabio, and Mike as they move to C2.
New drivers, please select a car from one of those with a “0” for the name - first come, first severed.
Build must be in to me by 5 PM ET (US) on Monday, 22 April, with pole bids due 24 April, and plot 1 due 29 April. All deadlines will be 5 PM ET (US) unless otherwise noted, and all deadlines are HARD - Just because I don’t begin working on the turn at 5 PM does not mean late plots will be accepted. Any late plot will be considered No Plot Received (NPR), and the Redscape series has very severe penalties for NPRs. I urge everyone to read the Redscape House rules at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1vuC ... dO7A/edit# for how your car will be plotted for NPRs and other situations, and the penalties you will incur. My advice - don’t be an NPR. It’s no fun for the Stewards, and it’s no fun for you. The other pertinent House Rules are listed there, with things like correcting errors (I *will* make them, please point out as soon as possible!). Note that defaults are listed in the rules as well. You may send me different defaults and I will store and use those if you like.
When sending your car builds, please send in the format ACC/DEC/TOP/START/WEAR/SKILL. Putting it in that order will make it easy for me to process without errors.
When you send me a build, a bid, or a plot, I will always send you an acknowledgement - usually just a terse “got it.” This doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy reading the extra notes/analysis many of you include, but I do want to make sure I don’t say anything I shouldn’t. If you have not received such a confirmation, and the deadline is approaching, resend your email - I may have forgotten to send the response, but in most cases in the past is has been because I did not receive it. I will try to remember to send reminders as the deadline approaches, but do not rely on this, as often I am too busy and forget to do so. It’s up to you to get your plot in to me on-time.
Sorry if I am spending a lot of time on this, but there were some hard feelings in the last race due to my strictly enforcing the rules, and I want to be sure everyone is aware up-front as to how this will be handled.
With that out of the way, please see the track diagram below.
