Dave and Chris and what is left of their tires line up in front of the second corner.

Tim glides through corner 1. John and William sit just outside the corner.

And then . . . a statement I do not get to use too often . . . FOUR WIDE . . . Michael, Jim, Don and Fabio are all eyeing the first corner. Michael and Jim have access to the green line . . . Don and Fabio have inside position . . . this may not work out for everyone.

Randy, Doug, and Jeff all clear the final corner of lap 2 and enter the main straightaway trying to determine where they can burn rubber to close the real estate gap between them and the leaders.

Next turn due Wednesday, November 21 at 9pm Eastern US time.

Dave, Chris, and Tim all clear "corner 4" with no drama.

William overbrakes and runs the red line to jump in front of John, who takes it easy on the green line.

Now the fun begins . . . with our team running four wide . . . Jim plots 160 to ensure that he grabs the initiative from his outside spot . . . he then late brakes to 140 and runs the green line for 2W and a successful chance roll. Don, on the inside, plots 120 to ensure he gets the jump on Fabio . . . he then late brakes using 1W and a successful dice roll to grab the inner spot on corner 1 for 2 additional W. Michael does nothing special and just runs the green line at 120 for 2W. Fabio is the odd car out, and chooses the brake down to 80 and run outside and defer if and how he will burn any tread until next turn.

Randy and Doug pull onto the green line. Jeff takes a slip from Doug and ducks inside him onto the red line.

Next turn should be due on Thursday, but I am not inclined to promise that I will not be suffering from food coma on Thanksgiving night . . . so let's make it Friday, November 23 at 9pm Eastern US time. [If all turns are in early, I will try to turn one around tomorrow night.]

Dave, Chris, and Tim maintain their conga line through 'corner 6.'

William, Jim, and John all clear 'corner 4.'

Michael and Dan lay up in front of corner 4 . . . and then the fun begins . . .

Fabio - who was squeezed out of clearing corner 1 last turn - takes a slow path through the outside of corner 1 . . . which drops him on the end of the green arrow.

Randy, facing auto-crash by plotting 120 into a 40 space (since the green arrow is not available), moves outside, late brakes for 1W, runs the 60s for 2W, and then throws maximum skill at a forced pass of Fabio (who is blocking). Randy's 6+3 result (-3 with skill) just gets him by Fabio, but costs Fabio a W (for the natural 3).

Doug also faces issues starting at 120 and elects to late brake and take the inside 40 for a 1S chance roll . . . which he makes.

Jeff, who made the entirely sensible 100 plot, now has to late brake and run the red line for an additional 1W.

Next turn due Saturday, November 24 at 9pm Eastern US time.

All the interesting stuff happened at the front end of the race this turn.

Dave - looking at that 20 accel - burns his last W to maintain speed through the 60s of corner 7. Chris - betting that Dave would not take the 40s - takes the 40s himself for 2 of his remaining W. Tim follows Dave for 2 of his remaining W. All three members of the lead pack clear corner 7 . . . all have little to no tread remaining.

The rest of the field follows script, with only Doug spending any W.

Next turn due Monday, November 26 at 9pm Eastern US time.

The top 3 cars turn upside down this turn.

Chris takes the initiative from Dave and grabs the line headed into corner 8. Dave makes a business decision regarding his impaired engine and settles in behind Chris.

Tim uses his bigger engine and drops inside of Chris and into the lead.

William clears corner 7 and appears to have a hammer-lock on forth place . . . for now.

Jim, John, Don, Michael, and Randy make it through corner 6 . . . Michael and Randy have a sizeable tire advantage on the rest of the pack.

Jeff puts his rubber to use and jumps ahead of Doug and Fabio . . .

Next turn due Wednesday, November 28 at 9pm Eastern US time.

Tim pushes his brakes to get down to 80 and takes corner 8 first. Chris also does 80, and with the advantage of the line, just noses in front of Tim despite going wide. Chris is our new leader . . . albeit with no rubber left to burn.

Long-time leader Dave coasts through corner 8. William pushes down the straightaway.

The main pack all manages to find their way through corner 7. For the record, Jim is inside of Michael and Randy is inside of John and Don (in that order).

Jeff also fins a spot through the 40 space in corner 7.

Doug and Fabio queue up to clear the corner next turn. Doug will be doing 100 to complete the corner.

Next turn due Friday, November 30 at 9pm Eastern US time.

Tim uses the last of his W to jump in front of Chris and onto the corner 11 line. The top four cars are all now running on bald tires.

Jim, Michael, Randy, Don, Jeff, John, and Doug all sit outside of corner 8.

Fabio slows his roll through corner 7 . . .

Next turn is due Saturday, December 1 at 9pm Eastern US time.

Tim takes the wide path through corner 11 and parks inside of corner 12, cutting Chris off from clearing corner 12. Chris accepts entry to the 140 row of corner 12.

Dave takes what his engine will provide and runs corner 11. William is the lone car to reach the end of the corner 9/10 complex.

Randy - with W to burn - is the first car of the large pack into corner 9.

John is last of the pack to clear the corner 8.

Doug and Fabio line up for corner 8 next turn.

Next turn due Monday, December 3 at 9pm Eastern US time.

Tim pushes his engine up to 160 and puts some air on Chris, as they both choose lines heading into the final corner. Dave also clears corner 12 and has a lock on the final podium spot.

William and Randy are clear of corner 11 and look to be in battle for fourth.

Jeff uses his gaudy amount of tires to pick up a couple of spots at the expense of Michael and Jim. Don also clears the corner 9/10 complex.

John runs deep into corner 10 - spending 1W, which will enable him to plot 100 next turn. Doug also enters corner 9/10.

Fabio has the most tread left on his tires, but is running out of real estate to use it.

Next turn due Monday (again), December 3rd at 9pm Eastern US time.

Tim - feeling the checkered flag is going to his this day - breaks off the line and runs the 140s at 140 to move to the inside. Chris rides his line, and appears destined for second place. Dave managed to coax enough out of his damaged engine for more than a lap to put himself on the podium.

William takes the inside line through corner 12, as he keeps an eye out for Randy's hard charge. However, Randy may have gone a little too aggressive with his charge at fourth place . . . and his engine pays the price . . . and now Randy may be in a battle for fifth, as he leads a conga line of Jeff, Michael, Jim, Don, John, and Doug.

Fabio is only one corner back with rubber to burn . . . but the available track remaining is rapidly shrinking.

Next turn due Tuesday, December 4th at 9pm Eastern US time.

Tim Baker's engine delivers one more push . . . which was mostly for show . . . as he wraps up the win on the inaugural CFR C1 race here at Indianapolis.

As expected, Chris and Dave also cross the finish line in 2nd and 3rd place respectively.

Things have become tight for William as Randy and Jeff . . . who both had W to burn . . . show up in his rear view mirror, but he should still easily cross in 4th. Randy and Jeff will drag race for 5th.

Christmas arrives early for Michael, as he combines an engine push with a rare double slip from Jeff to rocket to the end of the final corner.

Jim and Don (with the help of some free air) also both enter the final corner.

John, Doug, and Fabio all clear corner 12 . . .

Next turn (for the 9 cars that owe me plots) are due Thursday, December 6th at 9pm Eastern US time.

William, Jeff (with a top speed push), Randy, and Michael (with a top speed push) all cross the finish this turn . . . in that order.

Jim and Don exit the final corner . . . and will finish in that order.

John, Doug, and Fabio clear the final corner.

I need final plots from John, Doug, and Fabio . . . on a "as soon as practical" basis . . .
