The leaders slow the roll through corner 9/10, conserving rubber.

Tim pushes hard through corner 8 and into corner 9/10 and will come out next turn at 80.

John and William both had designs on hitting corner 8 on the arrow . . . John got there first by virtue of his inside position.

Fabio, Jim, and Michael (courtesy a slip from Fabio) all stack up in front of corner 8. Don might have been looking for a slip, but there was no place to take it , , , so he settles for the consolation prize - a spot on the arrow.

Randy successfully pushes out of the slow part of corner 7 and joins the main chase pack.

Doug and Jeff both glide through corner 7 on the wide side.

Next turn due Wednesday, November 7th at 9pm Eastern US time.

Dave is through corner 12 and looking to open up the engine . . . but given that corner 12 is kind of a fast corner, we are only going to give him half credit for being a corner up on the field.

Chris and Tim both sit just shy of corner 12 and will push their cars into the wide straightaway next turn.

John proves to be the only car from the main chase pack to reach the end of corner 10 . . . which is good for him, as he needs to stretch what little rubber he has left over another lap.

Will, Jim, Fabio, and Mike all stack up on the front of the corner 9/10 complex. Don and Randy sit on the fringe of the main pack.

Doug pushes a little extra out of his engine, while Jeff pulls on behind.

Next turn due Friday, November 9th at 9pm Eastern US (standard) time. Note: your loyal, talented, and ruggedly good-looking race steward will be on travel that day. I have very good intentions (and expectations) that I will turn a plot around that night, but do not be alarmed if there is a slight delay on my end.

Nothing feels worse than throwing skill at a reasonably friendly table . . . and failing. Apparently, the notoriously wicked PBEM dice roller decided to throw some 'feel bads' the way of the race leader. Dave's 1S was no match for the dice roller and his engine pays the price.

Chris and Tim suddenly loom large in the leader's rear view mirror.

John and Will clear corner 11.

Jim, Fabio, Michael, and Don all make the end of corner 10.

Randy finds himself the odd car out, as all the spaces at the end of corner 10 are claimed.

Doug similarly had hopes of finding room at the tail end of corner 10, but settles for progress into corner 9.

Jeff sets up to run the efficient line through corner 9/10 . . . but he has some ground to make up.

Next turn due Tuesday, November 13th at 9pm Eastern US time.

Dave and Chris take the 120 line through the final corner of lap 2, keeping the tires cool. Tim drops to the inside line and picks up a little ground on the leaders at the expense of some tread.

John, William, Jim, Fabio, and Michael all clear corner 12 and will be maxing out their engines shortly. Fabio - appreciating the adventure that is allowing me to roll dice - throws 2S at a push acceleration attempt to avoid a bad result.

Don picks up a bonus space and uses it to enter corner 12.

Randy and Doug run corner 11 . . . and Jeff sits just on the precipice of corner 11 with a lot of rubber to put to use.

[I highlighted changed resources in green . . . to keep track of changes from turn to turn.]

Next turn due Thursday, November 15 at 9pm Eastern US time.

Dave uses his superior top speed to put a little more air on the field as we start lap 3. Chris and Tim line up in the main straightaway.

John and William clear the final corner of the second lap. Jim and Fabio enter the final corner . . . Michael takes a slip and burns some rubber to drop inside both of them.

Don grabs the inside line for the final corner, while Doug, Randy, and Jeff all run corner 12.

Next turn is due Saturday, November 17th at 9pm Eastern US time.

Dave takes the superior line through the first corner of the final lap . . . and takes a one corner lead on the field . . . can he make his paper-thin tires and impaired engine hold up?

Chris and Tim fall into line in front of corner 1.

John and William officially start their final lap . . . as Michael, Jim, Fabio and Don loom in the background.

Randy overplots to beat Doug off the line and then late brakes to take Doug's preferred line. That event forces Doug to the middle line. Both of those events pushes Jeff into the (subpar) consolation prize line . . . into the 140 lane without benefit of the line.

Next turn due Monday, November 19th at 9pm Eastern US time.
