Four more cross the line as the dice get a workout.

Turn 39 summary:
Blizzard holds on to P2 in spite of his spin as he flies across the line at 180. Kellison pushes his engine to 180 (naked 6) and finishes even with the purple machine. Orlandi wisely drops to 160 to deny Ales the double slip. He finishes 4th. Ales pushed his machine to 180 in anticipation of grabbing a position (naked 7) but has to settle for 5th.

Brown gets his car up to 180 pushing his acceleration (naked 6). Mossman keeps at his top speed of 160 and sits on the green car's wing. Collins' acceleration only allows him to get to 140 but a slip from Mossman keeps him right behind the red race car. Incorpora asks some extra acceleration from his engine (naked 6) but since Collins only did 140 he just keeps pace with the cars ahead of him.

Brandt's underbuilt car responds to his request for 160mph with two skill (modified 2). Miller also uses two skill to roar to 200 and pulls alongside Brandt. Bauska is locked at 100 and loses the draft and now just looks to finish.

Next deadline: turn 40 due Friday, Sep 7 at 6pm EDT/10pm UTC

Note: turn 40 should be the final turn for this race. We are a few turns ahead of other circuits so we will have a little time off. You can send Indianapolis setups anytime you wish. Of course, you can always change them up until the due date, of which I will notify everyone once it is set.

Also there will be a postrace section on the Redscape forum for any comments on this race.

The race comes to and end with plenty of dice but only one position change.

Turn 40 summary:
Brown holds 180 across the line for P6. Mossman does 160 and uses the big double slip from Brown to finish even with him.

Collins is first to go for the dice trying to reach 180 (naked 10) but his engine can't handle it. In hindsight it actually preserves his P8 finish. Incorpora also rolls for 180 (naked 5) but since he's now faster than Collins there's no slip. The best he can manage is 9th place.

Miller keeps roaring down the straightaway at 200 (naked 4) and makes it three wide. His move into the final points position is the only change this turn. Brandt is the only one with skill left and he uses two of them to run 160 (modified 5) across the line with a decent showing in his underbuilt car. Bauska will finish next turn (with a 160 move) and we're through race 1.

Don't forget to leave your post-race comments in the forum on Redscape. Good race, gentlemen.

Kennington with an impressive 5.488 second win, and almost 3mph faster than the second fastest driver.
