Turn 15 Summary

Swaine runs the VIP on the outer rail for free at 60. Harley, at 100, clips 2 tires in Curva 3 before burning 2 more on the 40's in VIP. Still over the limit, he tosses in 2s on a chance roll (modified 3) and manages to keep his car in one piece!

Burnett slams on the brakes to 60 (2 wear on the over-brake) and takes the inner rail of Curva 3 for free while causing some problems behind him. Munies runs the outer rail at 80 for free.

Bauska plots 100 but with no place to park his car, brakes down to 80 with a wear. He then scrapes off another wear in the Curva 3 60's. Galullo pulls up to Curva 3 on the inside at 160 after passing a top speed test (naked 7).

A damaged engine, a new race leader, and a VIP mess...

Turn 16 Summary

Swaine pushes to 140 but the engine coughs instead (naked 11). Harley accelerates into the straight at 140 and now has the lead.

Burnett dumps a tire in the VIP 40's at 60 and has the exit row. Munies is stuck at 80 and is forced to the outer rail in VIP for a wear.

Bauska wisely drops to 60 before clipping a tire in the VIP 40's. Galullo, at 80, burns a wear in the Curva 3 60's followed by another in the VIP 60's.

Rae plots 120, moves a space, then late brakes to 100, expending a wear for the privilege. He knocks down a second wear in the Curva 3 80's. Hoyt over-brakes to 100 for a wear and scrapes another in the Curva 3 80's.

Haskell dives into Curva 3 on the inner rail for 2 wear at 100.

Snouffer pulls up to Curva 3 on the outside at 140 after burning off speed in Curva 2. Scarpino moves out of last place at 140 and has the inside on the #22.

Turn 17 Deadline: Monday, March 26th @ 8 a.m. EDT (12 noon GMT)

*The chart shows Hoyt with the late brake, not Rae. A correction not really worth making as the outcome is identical.

With all 4 circuits running together the current full field can be computed. This is based on when cars cross the start/finish line. Swaine has a tremendous lead on the rest of the field.

Also here are the current RROC standings current through turn 16:
Circuit Leaders:
Tatum 61
Baker 56
Ales 54
Munies 52

Wildcard:
Ling 60
Swaine 51
Brown 49
Rae 46
(Note: The circuit champions and the next 2 highest point drivers get first invitations)

Hoyt has the initiative at 100 and lops off 2 tires in the VIP 60's. At 80, Rae takes down a wear in the 60's.

As a fellow RM might say about this turn: It's like stuffing 10 pounds of #$%& into a 5 pound bag. Doug loses his concentration and fumbles (perhaps a fortunate one in this case).

Turn 19 Summary

Harley hits Orelha at 100 for 2 wear. Swaine, at 120, pulls up to Orelha on the inside.

Burnett slows his car down to 60, taking the Parabolica Interior on the inside for free. This is where it all starts.

Hoyt has initiative at 120. He clips 2 tires on the outer rail and moves up the leaderboard. Munies drops a wear in the Interior 80's at 100. We now have a blocked track.

Bauska gets initiative at 120 but with no place to put his car must brake down to 100. He spends one wear on the brake and another in the Interior 80's.

Haskell, also at 120, really has no place to put his car. He rolls to get to 100 (naked 9) then takes a wear hit for 80. Another wear is spent in the Interior 60's.

Galullo loses his comm (NPR) and takes an RM plot of 80 on the outside of Parabolica Interior. Rae plots 100 with no room at the inn. He burns a tire on the braking and another in the 60's.

Scarpino pushes his engine to 160 with 2s (modified 7). Snouffer also pushes (naked 4) and with the bonus pulls alongside the #2 car.

Hoyt pulls up to Orelha on the inside at 100. Burnett, at 120, has the outside lane. Munies taps the bumper on the #24 at 100.

Galullo and Rae both exit the Interior at 80 and are side by side.

Scarpino, at 100, clips 2 tires in the Parabolica Interior 60's. Snouffer runs the outer rail at 100 for a wear.

Munies scrapes a tire at 80 in Orelha. Haskell makes it 3-wide going into Tanque after using a wear in Orelha at 80.

Bauska cools his jets in Orelha, clogging up the inside lane at 60.

Galullo plots 120 then late brakes to 100 (naked 6). He drops 2 wear in Orelha on the outer rail. Rae pulls up to Orelha at 80.

Rae burns a tire in Orelha at 80 and has the tailpipe on the #96. Scarpino rubs off 2 tires in Orelha on the outer rail at 100. He's on the side panel of the #1 car.
