Friendly dice as the chase pack stays strung out.

Turn 14 summary:
Tatum backs down to 120 and keeps on the inside. Welage holds 120 and with the slip from Tatum pulls even with the leader. Ling finishes the Curva 1 line and keeps pace. Bauska already paid for his 140 and keeps the lead pack intact.

Incorpora runs by himself through the racing line at 140 for free. Miller taps the brakes for a 140 around the racing line. Kennington jumps out at 160 then hits the brakes late (naked 4) to follow Miller on the line. But Mossman's 140 with a slip runs him around the outside scrubbing off one wear and holding P7.

Hancock at 120 gets a slip from Mossman and adds to the queue on the line. Rando forgoes a slip, instead plotting 140 and brings up the rear on the racing line. Blizzard lets his big engine run at 180 and makes up two car lengths on Rando. Linneberg pushes his engine to 160 (naked 9) and uses the double slip to get inside position on Blizzard.

A forced pass for the lead.

Turn 15 summary:
Welage gets the initiative from the front at 80 and chooses the 80s for free. Tatum tests his brakes with one skill (modified 4) and gets down to 60 around the 60s to maintain the lead, briefly. Bauska plots 120 but has no where to go. He's forced to brake to 80 using one wear and a naked brake test (9). He takes the 80s for free. Ling plots 100 and also has no room in the corner, so he sheds two wear in the 60s and draws a bead on the leader, keeping the pedal down. A two skill roll (modified 4) results in a safe pass with no damage to either car.

Incorpora approaches the corner on the outside at 120. Miller comes off Curva 1 at 140 and holds the inside lane. Mossman also does 140 as he and Miller continue side-by-side. Kennington holds steady at 140 and stays on the wing of the orange racecar.

Hancock finishes the line at 140 to join Kennington in line. Rando does the same as the queue reaches 4 around Curva 2. Blizzard leaves one wear on the Curva 1 racing line at 160 to bring up the rear of the line. Linneberg rounds the 120s at 140 for one wear and finishes on the end of the line.

Ling opens a small lead, the rear pack tightens up.

Turn 16 summary:
Ling runs the VIP 60s at 100 shedding two wear and gaining a car length on his pursuers. Tatum drops one wear in the 60s at 80 while Welage leaves one wear in the 40s at 60. Bauska closes up in the 60s at 80 for one wear.

Incorpora rounds Curva 3 at 80 on the outside for free. Miller gets the jump into the corner at 100 scrubbing off one wear in the 80s. Mossman plots 80 and runs the outside behind Incorpora for free. Kennington knocks off one wear in the 60s at 80 and finishes inside Mossman to gain a position.

Hancock hits the Curva 3 80s at 100 paying one wear and closing in on Mossman's wing. Rando starts the 60s at 100 making his car two wear points lighter. Blizzard uses his maximum braking to get back to 120 and bleeds off speed around the outside of Curva 2. Linneberg wants the inside approach to the corner at 120 but with Blizzard there he's forced to the outside lane.

With all 4 circuits running together the current full field can be computed. This is based on when cars cross the start/finish line. Swaine has a tremendous lead on the rest of the field.

Also here are the current RROC standings current through turn 16:
Circuit Leaders:
Tatum 61
Baker 56
Ales 54
Munies 52

Wildcard:
Ling 60
Swaine 51
Brown 49
Rae 46
(Note: The circuit champions and the next 2 highest point drivers get first invitations)

Ling stretches his lead while Curva VIP strings out the chase pack a bit.

Turn 16 summary:
Ling flies the straightaway at 140. Tatum's maximum acceleration only gets him to 120, losing another length to the leader. Likewise Welage can only reach 100 and sets up on Tatum's back door. Bauska is locked at 80, finishing the corner and dropping inside.

Incorpora at 100 sheds two wear in the 60s. Miller does the same to keep the pair side-by-side. Kennington holds his 80 speed through the 40s, dumping two wear. Mossman also plots 80 but takes the 60s for one wear.

Hancock slows to 80 to take the VIP 60s shedding one wear. Rando plots 100 and looks for the 60s but with Hancock blocking he late brakes with one skill (modified 1) and leaves his two wear points in the 40s at 80. Blizzard was off the grid enjoying himself (the nerve) and leaves it to me to plot him. His full braking drops him to 80 and he then sheds one wear in each of the 60 lanes. Linneberg rounds VIP at 80 for free on the outside.

Two engine tests, one pass and one fail.

Turn 18 summary:
Ling runs into the Parabolica at 100 shedding one wear in the 80s. Tatum slows to 100 and prepares to enter the corner. Welage at 120 takes the position to the outside of Tatum also ready for the corner. Bauska grabs high gear finishing inside at 140.

Miller asks his engine to get him to his top speed of 160 all at once; the engine cooperates (modified 2) and he pulls even with Bauska. Incorpora maxes his acceleration to 140 and grabs Bauska's wing. Kennington plots 140 and gets a slip from Incorpora. Mossman exits VIP with a 140 move to the inside.

Rando hits the gas hard attempting to get to 140 but in the replay you can clearly see the car hesitate as the engine coughs (modified 10). He will be down to a 20 acceleration for the last lap and a half. Hancock finishes the 60s at his paid for speed of 80 and ducks inside. Blizzard has also paid for 80 in the 60s and he starts to the inside on corner exit. Linneberg sees an opening and by dropping two wear in the 40s at 80 is able to grab 11th place.

A major jam in the Parabolica Interior has several drivers locking up the tires.

Turn 19 summary:
Ling finishes the corner at 120 for already paid wear. Tatum gets the initiative at 80 and follows the 80s, changing lanes at the end. Welage also plots 80 and with Tatum on the inside he's forced to stay outside. (Here's were the fun begins) Miller plots 120 looking for the outside lane with a one skill late brake (mod 5), but since he doesn't request a pass he has to stand on the brakes to get to 80. Bauska wants 100 around the outside. That blocked he tries the inside and then tries to pass Tatum who's blocking. A modified 7 (5+2-0) says no pass, but no damage to either. However Bauska must now get to 60mph, using two wear to do so.

Incorpora tries for 100 but has to brake hard to 80, shedding one wear and keeping outside. Kennington is NPR. He can only move 60 so he drops one wear to get there and then heads outside. Mossman has no room for his 120 plot and must late brake to 100 for one wear and then is forced into the 60 lane for two more wear.

Rando tries for 100 but the corner is full. He's forced down to 80 for one wear and sits just at the entrance of the corner. Hancock uses all his acceleration to get to 140, catching Rando's wing. Blizzard asks his engine for a little oomph with one skill (modified 5) and finishes even with Hancock. Linneberg gets a slip from Hancock and, at 140, makes it three wide going into the corner.

Drivers: This was a particularly difficult turn to resolve. Please check your move and wear/skill numbers closely and let me know as soon as possible if you find a problem.

One minor correction from turn 19, Mossman rolled for his late brake with one skill (modified 3) instead of using wear. His numbers have been adjusted.

More tire smoke from Parabolica Interior as the rest of the mid-pack gets strung back out.

Turn 20 summary:
Ling takes the inside of Orelho at 80 dropping one wear. Tatum and Welage come off the corner and cover the short straight side-by-side at 120. Miller is locked at 100, he keeps to the inside.

Bauska likewise is locked at 80, he grabs Miller's wing. Incorpora's 80 move sets him behind Bauska. Mossman paid his wear last turn and keeps at 100, passing Incorpora for P6. Kennington recovers slightly from last turn to finish the corner at 80 and adds to the queue on the inside.

Rando sheds one wear around the inside of the corner at 80. Hancock plots 120 but there's no room to finish with Rando and Kennington side-by-side so he has to late brake for one wear and takes the 80s all the way for one more wear. Blizzard wanted the same 120 move but ends up with the same 100 move after a one wear late brake and one wear in the 80s. Linneberg chooses not to get involved with the mayhem and plots 80, safely navigating the outer lane.

The slow section has finally bunched up the entire field except for the leader.

Turn 21 summary:
Ling accelerates to 100 taking the Esses line for free. Tatum sheds one wear on the inside of Orelho at 80. Welage also at 80 rounds the outside of the ear and drops in behind Tatum. Miller drops two wear in the inner 60 and is now even with Welage for 4th.

Bauska plots 120 then hits the brakes hard (1w>late) leaving two wear on the inner 60 space. Mossman also starts at 120 but he uses one skill to get down to 100 (modified 3), also rounding the inside for two wear. Incorpora clears the corner at 100 on the inside, knocking off two wear. Kennington comes off of the Parabolica at 120 then locks up the brakes (1w) to get to 100 on the inside.

Rando keeps even with the dark blue car for now at 100. Hancock and Blizzard continue side-by-side at 100. Linneberg also at 100 keeps pace.

Next deadline: turn 22 due Friday, April 6 at 6pm EDT/10pm UTC

Note: I might not get to the next move on Friday, but all moves will be frozen at the normal cut-off time. If I don't get to it Friday evening, I will get it Saturday morning so this will not affect the turn 23 deadline.

Orelho breaks the chase pack in two

Turn 22 summary:
Ling comes off of the Esses and sticks to the inside of the Parabolica at 100. Tatum runs the Esses line at 120 for one wear and starts the middle of the final corner. Welage plots 100 and, with a slip from Tatum, takes the Esses line for free. Miller's 100 move keeps him right behind the lime green car.

Bauska accelerates to 140 shedding two wear in the outside lane of the Esses. Mossman also does 140, taking the long way around Tanque and grabbing the Esses line behind Miller. Incorpora at 120 looks for the line also but with Mossman blocking he dives inside to take P6. Kennington scrubs off one wear in the Orelho inner lane at 80.

Rando rounds the ear's outside lane at 80 dropping one wear and finishing inside. Hancock and Blizzard make matching 60 moves around the inside of the corner and stay in lock-step. Linneberg has no room for the inside lane so he runs the outside 60s at 80 for one wear.

A shake up on both ends of the points standings

Turn 23 summary:
Ling hits the main straightaway at 120 with a 4 length lead. Tatum holds at 120, shifting inside at the end of the corner. Welage does the same and sits on Tatum's tailpipe. Bauska pushes his engine above it's max. It groans but holds (naked 9) and he runs the 120s at 160 dropping two wear and picking up two positions vaulting him into 3rd in points, pushing Rando out of a promotion position.

Miller sheds one wear in the 120s at 140, hanging on to the wing of the yellow machine. Incorpora covers the Esses 80 at 100 scrubbing off one wear into the inside of the Parabolica. Mossman gets the Esses racing line for free at 100 but is forced into the middle lane of the big corner. Kennington takes the Esses line at 100 for free.

Rando runs into the Esses on the line at 100 for free. Hancock plots 140 for the initiative and takes the long way around Tanque in order to get the racing line behind Rando. Blizzard uses one skill to coax his engine up to 140 (modified 7). He takes the short way around Tanque and fits himself into the Esses 100s between Hancock and Rando, using two wear. This puts him in a tie with Kennington for the last non-relegation space but Kennington holds the tie-breaker. Linneberg continues to bide his time and avoid the madness at 100.

The white flag waves as Ling hits the last lap

Turn 24 summary:
Ling maxes at 140 and begins the final lap. Tatum and Bauska come off the final corner at 160 each and make up a length on the leader. Bauska, though, has to use dice to get there (naked 8), and they are again friendly. Miller is NPR and, since he already spent one wear in the corner, he is able to accelerate to 160 but must finish outside.

Welage can only reach 140 this turn, he finishes inside but loses the position to Miller which moves him out of a transfer spot puts Rando back in. Incorpora finishes the corner at 120 and keeps inside. Mossman is also locked at 120 as he grabs the black car's wing. Kennington makes a big move around the Parabolica at 160 in the 120s shedding two wear and falling in line behind Mossman.

Rando drops one wear in the 100s at 120. Blizzard wanted the same but he's forced to the middle lane. However a slip from Kennington keeps his even with Rando. Hancock shoots the Esses at 120 scrubbing off one wear, then into the 120s in the big corner. Linneberg makes a move at 140, knocking off two wear on the Esses line and another two in the Parabolica 100s, gaining himself one position to 11th.
