Jeff spends 2 skill and takes it to 40 (modified 6) and ducks behind Tim
Cody does not spend wear but pulls along Jeff by going 60

3 Distinct packs!

Marshall speeds through the Vemeire at 140 on the R/L and maintains the lead
Doug goes even faster at 160 through the R/L and sits on the rear wing of Marshall

Fabio eases through the corner at 120 and sits on the R/L
Jim speed to 140, cuts the corner in the 100s for 2W
Chris takes it at 120 with the slip at 1W through the 100s and comes alongside the Italian's car
Mike site between the two packs with a 140 on the R/L with no penalty

Will pushes his engine with a 2S (I will adjust his total shortly), and passes with a 3, taking the R/L
Tim accelerates 80 with a slip pulls alongside of Will with an ordered speed of 120
Cody takes his acceleration up 80 also and gets the R/L for next turn by going 140

Turn 3

A lead change and a big pack behind the leaders!

Marshall spends 1W at 100 and goes through the 80s
Doug, seeing an opportunity, takes it to 100 (Brake check of 4)and cuts inside of Marshall on the 60, scraping 2 wear
Fabio and Jim both orders the engines to 120. Fabio spends the 2 wear for the 80 lane, and Jim spends 1W for the 100s
Chris also orders 120, but there is no room and he spends his skill for a brake check. Good thing he spent the skill! He rolled a modified 9!
Mike eases toward the next corner at 120
Tim and Will both ask for 140, and Tim gets initiative deciding to spend 2W to go through the 100s
Will ends up outside him, but gets the R/L for free
Cody and Jeff both take the R/L at 140 with slips, following behind dutifully

Turn 4

Flames from a crash in the Chicane!

Doug orders 120 through the 80s and sits on the inside of the corner.
Marshall orders 120 also, but is pushed outside on the left of Doug
Fabio slows to 100(?) and enters the next corner for 1W
Jim snakes around the Chicane's 100 and then the 80s at 100mph and sits behind Fabio
Chris scissors behind Jim at 80, but spends a wear on the 60s to cut inside of Jim
Mike spends the same wear in the 60s and follows Chris
Tim and Cody both order the Chicane at 140, and Tim gets initiative. He late brakes with a 9, spends 2W to sit behind Jim
Cody chooses to not late brake and goes to the chance table, rolls a 10 and flips his car! It flips back to wheels up, but is destroyed!
Will cautious takes the Chicane at 100 for 2W in the 60s, but the flames cause him to swerve and he makes it around the wreck with a modified 6! Close shave!
Jeff pulls up short of the wreck with 100mph and sits on the 100 rated corner.

I hope Cody is OK. That looked rough, but these cars have great safety devices!

Chris takes to 60 lane for 2W

With great turnaround, we can get back on track (pun intended!) with Jim "The RM Machine" Orlando.

T6

Still two packs and Jeff gets dropped off the back!

Doug maxes his engine at 160 and waits for the big dogs to roar past
Fabio takes it to 180 and takes the lead in front of Doug
Marshall paces next to Fabio and get second position on Fabio's left side

Chris speeds as fast as his acceleration will safely let him to 140
Jim pulls alongside with a 160 order, but no slip because Chris was out-paced
Mike speeds up to 160 also, but foregoes the slip and tucks behind Chris
Tim comes from the outside lane of the corner and cuts in front of Will with his 180mph in the middle lane
Will asks his engine for 160, and with the slip sits on the outside

Jeff can only finish the corner at 120, but tightens his seat belt harness for the rest of his nearly fresh tires to be used

T7

2 forced passes... One made it!

Fabio speeds to 200 with a 2S modified roll of 1
Marshall orders 180 and the middle lane, precluding a slip next turn
Doug keeps his car at 160, but with the double slip from Fabio, cuts inside of Marshall for 2nd place

Chris keeps it at 180 and chooses the middle lane
Jim flies down the straightaway at 180 and takes the inner left open by Chris
Will roars his engine to 200 with a 2S modified 7, and sets up the 3-wide
Mike wants to force with 180 and 2slips past the 1st non-blocking car and flies past Chris with a 7 and cuts in front of Jim
Tim tries the same maneuver on the other side of Chris, passing Will, but with a 10, the dice gods say no. He is force braking with a dice roll of 9 and forced to slow to 140, costing him a wear, but no brake damage. (RM Stewards, Is this right?)

Jeff takes it up to 180 and is looking to regain contact.

Cody checked out fine at the infield care center, and is heard commenting "The gas pedal stayed at 140. I don't know what happened"

T8 Due Monday at 4PM Pacific (30OCT17). Earlier if I have all orders, but not until Monday...

Turn 8

A quiet turn with some double slips for a couple drivers

Fabio spends 2W worth of tires ripping through the R/L at 160
Doug spends 2W also, but cuts the 100s at 140mph and settles on the inside
Marshall surely appreciates that, and spends 1W for 140 on the R/L

Mike roars his motor to 200 with a naked 4 and sits on the R/L
Chris also asks for 200 with a naked 7 and cuts to the inside
Will spends 2S and his engine answers the requested 200 with a modified 2 and he gets the desired R/L
Jim doesn't push his car to extremes but the 180 order gets his 2 slips to pull alongside Mike
Tim gets two slips also to go with his 180mph order and settles in the middle lane for a 3-wide section of track

Jeff takes it 180 and keeps the pack in sight

Pervasive smell of rubber on the track as 14W expended!

Fabio spends 1W and rolls through the 100s at 120
Doug and Marshall spend 2W each making up the gap on the leader at 140mph
Mike stays on the R/L for 160 and spends 2W
Jim goes 140 for 2W in the 100s and sits on Mike's rear wing
Chris orders 160 and rolls through the 120s for 2W and coddles up on Jim's rear wing, but no slip as Jim only went 140
Tim also orders 160 through the 120s for 2W but with the slip, he can pull alongside Jim
Will asks for a slip, but there is not a car in front of him to slip... Wishful thinking!
Will does ask his motor to take him around the curve at 140 for 1W through the 120 R/L
Jeff take the R/L at 160, but does not yet enter the corner, being the only car not expending wear!

A screech and fluid drops on the track!

Doug and Marshall roll the corner at 140, but with Doug having initiative, Marshall is forced to late break safely with a 6

Mike drops his speed to 100 with a DEC roll of 7 and takes the 80s for 1W
Jim takes the corner at 120 for 1W in the middle lane
Tim decides to cut inside with a late brake, and he loses a brake seal, and his brake pressure drops! Has car expends a wear and brakes are damaged!
Chis and Will both spend a wear and sit side by side on the 100s
Jeff cruises the R/L at 120 for no wear

Turn 11 due Monday 6NOV17 at 4PM Pacific, or earlier if all orders are in.

Doug revs around Bendor at 120 (2W) and cuts Fabio off to take the lead!
Fabio bides his time and settles behind Doug with a 1W 100mph
Marshall follows behind Fabio with the same 100mph for 1W
Mike finishes Beausset at 100 and spends a wear in Bendor
Tim does the same and saddles to the outside for no wear
Jim does not have enough to get into the next corner with his ordered 100, but is ready to take Bendor next turn
Chris comes around Beausset at 120 and comes alongside Jim
Will wants to do the same, but there is not room, and he is forced to late brake with 2S (Mod 2)
Jeff spends 1W to cruise the 80s at 100.
