Rae's lead shrinks by about 1 second but is still quite comfortable.

Everyone drives responsibly through the hairpin...

Rae cruises out to another big lead at 140. Scarpino finishes Nouveau Monde at 80.

Munies clips 2 tires in the Nouveau Monde 40's and tucks in behind the #17. Haskell goes next at 80 and rubs off his final wear on the outer rail.

Swaine burns a tire at 60 on the inner rail of Nouveau Monde and selects the middle lane. Burnett runs the same line at 80 for 2 wear and is more than happy to take the inside position on the #25.

Hoyt scrapes off 2 tires at 80 in the Nouveau Monde 40's. Harrington follows, also at 80 for 2 wear, but is now hung up in the corner.

Some good dice in the back but to no avail. Hoyt takes a call from his agent and gets distracted.

* Note: Mike's wear and skill corrected from last turn. He passed a chance roll with 2s instead of using 1 wear.

Turn 37 Summary

Rae takes it easy through D132 at 80.

Scarpino pulls up to D132 at 140. Munies comes abreast of the #17 at 120 and the bonus.

Burnett and Swaine trade paint along the straight at 140 each.

Haskell settles in on the wing of the #18 at 140. An NPR* from Hoyt has him coming out of the corner at 100.

Harrington finishes out the hairpin at 80. Snouffer drops to 40 on the inner rail of Nouveau Monde, blocking the #28's line.

Bauska goes to the dice twice. He drops 2s on the brake roll (modified 2) to get to 60. Two more skill gets tossed in on the chance roll (modified 1) as he safely navigates the hairpin but then gets hung up in the middle lane.

* NPR's (no plot received) are usually punitive at Redscape. Our house rules describe the RM plot process.

The dice cup giveth and the dice cup taketh away.

Turn 38 Summary

Rae rolls through Samson at 100, costing a tire.

Swaine gets initiative at 100 before scrubbing a wear in D132. Burnett runs the inner rail at 80 for free and sits on the wing of the #29.

Haskell attempts to brake down to 80 with the dice (naked 12). His pads puff out black smoke and cry mercy. With no wear for the failed test, we get a spin on the track.

Hoyt, at 120, uses a wear and grabs the dice cup with 1sp as he enters D132 (modified 7). He gets loose and puts his car in a tailspin at the corner entrance.

Harrington pulls up to D132 at 120. Snouffer tests his Acc with 2sp (modified 8) and rolls out of the hairpin at 120. Bauska is stuck at 60.

Note: When coming out of a spin, your speed is limited to the lesser of your Start Speed or Accel.

Swaine grabs the initiative at 100 then late brakes down to 80 with 1sp (modified 8). He occupies the exit lane to stuff the #29. Munies gets hung up in Samson on the outer rail at 80.

Burnett pulls into Samson behind the #25 at 80, but is also hung in the corner. Hoyt is limited to 20 as he recovers from his spin.

Harrington is forced to the outer rail on D132. He drops a wear at 100. Haskell recovers from his spin at 20.
