And the green flag flies, so does Miller!

Turn 1 summary:
Mossman is the first of seven to push his start speed (modified 1) and gets an early gap on Tatum, who also pushed his start speed (modified 0). Incorpora pushes (modified 0) to stay on Tatum's wing. Kennington stays with his car's 60 start and pulls in behind the black machine.

Hancock and Bauska both do 60 with no push and stay side-by-side. Linneberg uses no dice and does 60 to stay behind Hancock. Needham pushes to 40 (modified 2) and stays with the pack.

Blizzard coaxes a modified 7 out of the dice and moves up one spot. Miller pushes to 120 (modified 0) and picks up five positions on the jump. Welage is the last to push (modified 4) and ducks inside. Ling spares the dice and takes up a position right behind Welage at 20.

More than half of the field take slips and the first corner bunches up the pack.

Turn 2 summary:
Mossman leaves one wear on the 100s at 120 to clear the corner. Tatum sheds two wear in the same lane to close up on the leader. Incorpora does 120 shedding one wear and using a slip to keep the line intact. Miller plots 160 and uses the long way around the bend to his advantage, grabbing a solid 4th place.

Kennington gets a slip from Tatum and finishes beside the orange machine. Bauska tests his car's acceleration (modified 2) and reaches 140 to move before Hancock and, with a slip from Miller, makes it 3 wide. Hancock uses a slip from Kennington to keep up with the pack. Blizzard goes 140 and gets a slip from Bauska, catching the silver car.

Linneberg plots 120 and uses a slip from Hancock keep on the tail of the pack. Rando does 100 and also gets a slip from Linneberg but loses the draft for now. Welage punches up to 100 and holds the inside. Ling tests his acceleration (modified 7) to reach 100 and stay on Welage's wing.

Everyone gets down to two wide safely and Rando catches the chase pack.

Turn 3 summary:
Mossman holds a slight lead dropping 1 wear in the 100s. Tatum gets his nose on Mossman's outside by shedding one wear in the 120s. Incorpora loses a step on the leaders at 120. Miller pulls even with the black car scrubbing off two wear in the 120s.

Kennington leaves one wear in the 120s at 140 and keeps behind Incorpora. Bauska saves his tires at 120 and grabs the wing of the blue machine. Hancock does 100 and with a slip from Miller pulls alongside Bauska. Blizzard also saves rubber at 100 but has no room for a slip.

Linneberg keeps at 120 safely and gets a slip from Hancock to stay on his wing. Rando nicks two wear off his tires at 160 and grabs the tail of the pack. Welage plots 160 and takes the long way around the kink to finish at the corner. Ling also does 160 but takes the short way around to make a run on Welage.

A three car break at the front as Miller joins the leaders. You could throw a blanket over the next 7 cars.

Turn 4 summary:
Mossman and Tatum both finish their respective corner lanes for already paid wear and finish side by side. Miller flies the 100s at 140 dropping two wear and catching the leaders. Incorpora takes the safe route through the 120s at speed.

Kennington also takes the 120s safely and with a slip from Incorpora pulls up next to him. Bauska takes the initiative from Hancock with a 140 plot, scrubbing off one wear in the 120s. Hancock follows Bauska through the 120s at a safe speed. Blizzard uses his inside advantage to move before Linneberg, sheds 1 wear in the 100s at 120 and, with a slip from Bauska, is able to move into P7 on the outside.

Linneberg does 120 and slides inside of Hancock to take over P8 at a cost of one wear. Rando stays with the pack at 120 through the 120s and a slip from Blizzard. Welage and Ling both do 120 through the 120s to stay wheel to wheel.

Tatum makes a bold move into the lead, the chase pack tightens up even more.

Turn 5 summary:
Tatum plots 140, uses two wear and two skill (modified 3) to late brake to 80 and drops two more wear on the inside to pick up P1. Mossman wanted to make a similar move though not quite as aggressive, but with Tatum now on the inside has to swing wide shedding two wear in the 60s. Miller also was hunting the inside lane but, like Mossman, had to go outside, dropping two wear. Incorpora uses the inside advantage to reach the entrance of the corner at 100.

Kennington, also at 100, keeps pace with Incorpora. Bauska gets the jump on Blizzard with a 120 plot and makes the corner entrance three wide. Blizzard does a conservative 100 and starts the two deep pack. Linneberg at 120 pulls even with the purple machine.

Hancock plots 100 and, with a slip from Bauska, completes the second row. Rando is locked at 120 and keeps with the pack. (Only two spaces separate P10 from P4) Welage does 120 and opts to keep to the outside for free. Ling also does 120 and, with the outside occupied, drops to the 100s, knocking off one wear. He finishes outside to prevent a slip opportunity by Welage next turn.

Tatum gaps Mossman, the hairpin collects more rubber.

Turn 6 summary:
Tatum accelerates to 140 off the corner making that last move pay dividends. Mossman and Miller both maintain 100 for already paid wear; Mossman taking the inside and Miller choosing to finish behind him. Bauska sheds two wear in the 60s at 100 and starts for the inside.

Incorpora drops two wear on the inner 40s at 80 and holds on to P4. Kennington wanted the inside lane but with things blocked he uses the middle 40s, scrubbing off two wear. (Rules note: Either Bauska OR Kennington may slip Incorpora, but not both. The first one to request it and move gets it.) Blizzard knocks two wear off in the middle 40s at 80. Linneberg slows to 60 (one wear for deceleration) and dives inside for one more wear and up to P7.

Hancock slows to 60 and takes the outside line for free. Rando's choices become very limited as he plots 80 and hits the middle 40 lane at a cost of two wear. Ling does 120 to reach the entrance of the corner on the inside. Welage plots 140 and pulls alongside Ling at the corner.

Eight position changes as the field splits into two packs.

Turn 7 summary:
Tatum rounds the corner at 100 dropping one wear. Mossman sheds two wear in the inner 80s at 120. Miller gets a slip from Mossman but with Mossman on the inside is forced outside knocking off two wear. Incorpora covers the straightaway at 120.

Bauska jumps out to 160 getting the initiative on Kennington and passing Incorpora to pick up two spots to 4th place. Kennington plots 140 and pulls even with the black machine. Blizzard's 140 plot sends him out of the corner before Linneberg. He grabs Incorpora's wing on the inside. Linneberg does 120 and with a slip from Kennington he brings up the rear of the lead pack.

Rando continues at 80 for already paid wear and dives inside out of the corner. Hancock continues the corner at 60 and slides towards the inside making it as far as the middle lane. Ling uses his inside advantage to fly around the inside 40s at 80, scrubbing off two wear. Welage has the same plot as Ling but not enough room to complete the move so he takes the middle 40s through the corner, spending two wear and picking up P11.

No positions change but things tighten up.

Turn 8 summary:
Tatum sheds two wear in the inner 80s at 120. Mossman completes the first inner 80s for already paid wear then drops two more wear in the second inner 80s. Miller finishes the outer 80s for already paid wear and dives inside. Bauska sheds one wear in the inner 80s at 100 and grabs the wing of Miller's orange car.

Incorpora, Kennington, Blizzard and Linneberg submit identical plots. All look for a slip but no one involved did more than 100 so none get one. They all spend 1w in the inner 80s at 100 and keep the foursome intact.

Rando and Ling both reach the entrance to the corner while Welage and Hancock take up behind them; the Americans nose to tail on the inside with the Brits nose to tail on the outside.

Tatum gets gone for now, Blizzard rolls the dice for a big move.

Turn 9 summary:
Tatum paddles up to 160 and covers half of the straightaway. Mossman finishes the corner at 120 for already paid wear. Miller drops two wear on the inner 80s to keep with the red machine. Bauska rides Miller's slipstream around the corner at 100 and sheds only one wear to keep up.

Kennington gets the jump on Incorpora at 120, scrubs off two wear in the inner 80s and finishes inside. Incorpora nicks one wear off at 100 and moves towards the inside although he can't quite get back to Kennington's wing. Blizzard shows some muscle around the inner 80s at 140. Two wear points and 3 skill points (modified 1) later he's in front of Incorpora and beside Kennington. Linneberg manages a slip off of Kennington and leaves one wear in the inner 80s at 100.

Rando keeps things safe at 80 around the inner 80s. Ling does the same to stay even with Rando. Welage gets one wear lighter around the 80s at 100 and makes it three wide. Hancock slows to 80 to keep it safe around the inner 80s and keeps pace.

Dice keep the mid-pack basically intact while the rear pack breaks up.

Turn 10 summary:
Tatum drives 160 into the 140s shedding one wear. Mossman maxes out at 160 covering most of the straightaway. Miller also hits 160 and takes a slip from Mossman to pull even with him. Bauska uses a slip from Miller and a 160 plot to keep pace.

Kennington lets his engine loose and roars to 180 keeping on Bauska's tail. Blizzard uses a timely skill point to push his top speed to 180 (modified 9) and stays even with Kennington. Linneberg makes a naked roll for acceleration (modified 5) and gets his engine up to 180 also. Incorpora plots 160 and gets a slip from Blizzard but he can only use one slip space as there is nowhere else to go.

Welage makes a move plotting 140 and using two skill to brake to 120 (modified 1) then sheds two wear in the inner 80s to jump up two spots to P9. Ling rolls the inner 80s at 100 dropping one wear. Rando stays safe at 80. Hancock anticipates some tight quarters and possibly carnage so he lays back with a safe 60 move.

Tatum's lead shrinks by one, Hancock loses touch with the trailing pack.

Turn 11 summary:
Tatum finishes Gresil for already paid wear and drops inside. Miller pushes his engine to 180 (modified 3) and sheds two wear in the 140s and takes P2 temporarily. Mossman keeps at 160 for two wear on the inside to reclaim the spot from Miller. Bauska maxes at 160 and follows Mossman losing two wear points.

Kennington's engine is tuned for 180 and he gets there in the 140s nicking off two wear. Blizzard saves rubber at 140 in the outside lane. Linneberg scrubs off two wear at 160 around the inside lane. Incorpora gets a slip from Blizzard and takes the 120s at speed.

Welage lets his engine loose and roars to 180 down the straightaway. Ling follows right in his tire tracks with a successful acceleration roll (modified 5), also hitting 180. Rando hits his top speed of 160 by testing his acceleration (modified 7) and gets two slip spaces from Ling to pull even with him. Hancock's caution last turn costs him a little ground and he rounds the inner 80s at 100 for one wear.

Tatum's lead shrinks by one more space.

Turn 12 summary:
Tatum does 160 and reaches La Scierie on the inside. Miller continues to push his engine to 180 (1 skill, modified 5) and closes another space on the leader. Mossman finishes Gresil at 160 for already paid wear and keeps on Millers tail. Bauska duplicates Mossman's move and continues the queue.

Kennington keeps at 180 and chooses to finish outside to shake any draft. Linneberg follows Bauska out of the corner at 160 and brings up the back of the line. Blizzard finishes the 140s at speed and drops inside. Incorpora rounds the 120s at 120 and grabs the wing of the purple race car.

Welage slows to 120 and hits the inside lane of Gresil for free. Ling and Rando both plot 140. Ling on the inside moves into the 140s for free, Rando is forced to late brake using one wear and sits behind Welage. Hancock maxes his acceleration to 160 and makes back some of the ground he lost last turn.

Next deadline: turn 13 due Wednesday, July 5 at 6pm EDT/10pm UTC

Tatum slides around La Scierie at 120 for free. Miller wheels around the inside of the corner at 140 for two wear and assaults the lead. Mossman gets a slip from Miller and takes the 100s for a wear. Bauska sheds two wear in the 100s at 140 to pull even with the red car.

Kennington plots 140 and drops one wear around the outside of La Scierie. Linneberg shoots the middle 120s at 160 for two wear and P5. Blizzard maxes out at 160 and approaches the corner. Incorpora also at 160 takes the slip to finish alongside Blizzard.

Welage and Ling complete Gresil at 140 and 120 respectively. Rando keeps on the inside of the corner at 120. Hancock flies into the inside at 160 knocking down two wear.
