I'm a little concerned about that giant blue car out on the Nouveau Monde! Is that an obstacle we have to get around or will it play a game of chicken with the lead cars?

Wow, Carnage from the start!

Jim pushes his engine to 80 to start the race and succeeds with a unmodified 8, forcing the shifter into gear. Turkyo ducks behind the blue rear fin and safely rolls 60mph. Tim risks it with his 3chip to go 80, and good thing he did! Modified 7 (10) saves him. Will K Takes the green flag seriously and jumps to 120 with a 2 skill point added. His modified 8 (10) keeps his car rolling also. Jeff revs up to 100 to go three-wide on the outside of Tim.

Simone takes the 60 safely given for his engine into the inside lane, while Fabio bumps his engine to 80 with a modified 6 (8), taking the center. Cody jumps to 100 and cuts between the wall and Fabio. Mike doesn't take a risk and motors at 60 for a slip position next turn.

Marshall wants to bump his speed 80 with a +1 modified roll, but the gearbox says no. His roll of 10 (11) shows mis-shift and he sputters along at 40.

Doug sees the opportunity to catch the pack and he wants to go 120, but there would no room with the 3-wide ahead. He rolls for the 120 unmodified and gets a 12! A puff of smoke and cursing at the back of the track! The car stalls in place

Chris expecting to play catch up over the next two laps has already made up 1 spot!

You should sacrifice to the dice gods... They seem angry!

Turn 2

Not much excitement compared to last turn...

Will K keeps his advantage with his 160 cruising through the middle 120 lane for 2W. Jim follows the short part of the curve, but maintains contact by going 140 behind Will for 1W. Tim spends 2W but cuts to the inside lane at 140mph. Turkyo gets the slip and keeps his car in the slipstream behind Jim at 120.

Jeff H takes position behind Tim B at 140, and Cody takes the spot in the middle lane at 160 next to Jeff H.

Fabio takes 140 through the short corner, followed by Simone and Mike P each cruising at 120.

Marshall C and Chris L both rev up to 80 and start to make up the speed deficiency. Doug S gets his car rolling finally for 40mph and still is shaking his head in disgust.

Turn 3 due Monday 12JUN17 at 4PM Pacific. I do not anticipate delays on Monday, but if all orders are not received on time I will delay as it is my Birthday (53). I will adjudicate early if all orders are received.

Do you like the flags and the text boxes in the middle of the track?

Looks good to me. It's very helpful that you have them in the order of running - makes it easier to see which cars are around you.

Turn 3

Will breaks contact, Doug rolls for over acceleration

Will revs the Pink car to 160 and breaks away. Tim B takes 2nd, as he cuts to the inside for a 2W penalty in the 100s. Jim O maintains the safer speed at 140 in the 120s and spends 1W.

Turkyo takes the corner at 120 for the inside lane, while Jeff H roars to 140 and sits wheel to wheel on his left. Cody sits behind Turkyo's rear stabilizer going 120.

Fabio and Simone both go 120 and have a slip to fill in the rear spots of the pack. Mike tails behind Simone with his 120 plotted speed.

Marshall takes it up to 120, Chris speeds up to 140 to make contact, and Doug pushes his acceleration and plots 100, trying to make his car make up the widening gap. His roll of a 3 keeps his car from failing him again.

Turn 4

Quite the jockeying for position in the pack, no major problems, though.

Will K breaks along the straightaway and crowds the Nouveau Monde by going 160 (decisions next turn?)

Tim B and Jim O both go 140 and fall into line.

The pack starts through the Six Freres corner with Turkyo taking initiative and the outside lane for 120. Turkyo is followed by Jeff H, who tucks beside the Black Mamba car. Cody and Fabio both order 120, but Cody goes first and takes the outside lane and no room for a slip, sits behind Turkyo. Fabio orders the same, but there is no room, and he has two options, use 1W for braking or 1W for the inside lane. Defaults were used and he gets the inside lane and moves up 1 position for 1W off his tires. Simone and Mike both take the 120s to complete the line.

Marshall and Chris both go 120 through the curve and Chris takes a slip to come even with Marshall. Doug S comes up to 140 and preps for the corner.

Turn 5 due 3PM Pacific on Friday 16JUN17. I will adjudicate if all orders are in early. Thanks for the many birthday wishes!

If I did not follow the defaults properly, let me know.

Turn 5

Will K continues his torrid pace and cruises the 60s at 100mph for 2W .. He slammed the brakes to get to 100 for an over deceleration roll that passed with a 4.

Tim B decelerates, and then late brakes to take the inside. His roll of a 7 keeps him safe as well. Tim regains contact with Will K!

Jim takes the outsides at 100 for 2W.

There are 4 drivers vying for 3 lanes!!!! Turkyo and Jeff H both take the inside lanes by going 120, and Cody pushes it to 140 to take the third. Fabio backs off at 120 and can have his choice of lanes in the corner.

Simone is stuck at 120 and and lines up behind the pack, Mike keeps position as well with his 120 also.

Marshall and Chris both order 120, but Marshall gets the initiative and takes the 100 for 1W and pushing Chris to the outside at the 120s.

Doug is making up the gap but has a bit more to go. He travels at 100 on the inside, but has clean air in front of him.

Fall 1906 orders due Monday 19JUN17 at 4PM Pacific

Turn 6

No crashes, but there is a serious traffic jam on the 695!

Will K keeps his lead, but has a two car length lead. He travels 140 down the straightaway.
Tim B creeps closer with a 120, and Jim stuck on the outside going 100 takes the lead of the peleton (and what a peleton it is!).

Cody gets initiative at 100 MPH and rockets around the outside lane (2W) and sits in the middle lane out of the corner. Turkyo gets next move and takes the 40s at 80MPH (2W) and moves in front of Cody but behind Jim O. Jeff H wants to take the inside like Turkyo, but there is no room to take that line at speed. Sadly, Jeff H is forced to the middle lane of 40s and tucks in line behind the Black Mamba car.

Fabio and Simone both order 80 in the 40s (2W each) but Fabio is too close to take the inside lane and has to bleed off speed in the middle lane as well, and sits in Lane 2. Simone can go 80 and then has room to sit in lane one. Mike takes the 60s at 80 for 1W.

Marshall catches the pack with his 140, and Chris L orders 120 (ONLY because he has to!), and Doug rolls the Baby Blue Bunny Ice Cream car on the inside lane at 100mph.

Turn 7 is due 4PM Pacific 21JUN17
I will adjudicate if I have everyone's orders. Sorry for the lack of communication this weekend. Family stuff...

Edited for Mike's outside lane order that confused me.

Turn 7

The traffic jam works it's way down the straightaway
Marshall passes someone
Two Italians change positions

Will K and Tim B both take the inside lane of D132 at 100 and maintain the staggered leads over the pack of hungry wolves.

Speaking of the pack, Jim rolls down the straight at 120, as does Turkyo, but the slip pulls him alongside Jim O. Cody and Jeff H both order 140, but the initiative is Jeff's and he gets the inside lane.

Fabio orders 120 with a slip, but Simone orders 140, gets the jump and the inside lane behind Jeff.

Mike is on the outside of Nouveau Monde at 80 and exits the corner, while Marshall cuts to the inside lane at 80mph, passing Mike P in the process. Chris L takes the same line and is a car length behind Mike.

Doug S takes the slight curve before Monde a bit wide at 120.

Turn 8 orders due Friday at 4PM Pacific unless all received earlier.
