Claudio makes his first attempt at the lead as the pack goes wide to La Scierie.

Turn 15 is Due Friday at 9pm Eastern(No late deadline cause I have to powernap for something!)

Turn 14 Summary

Christina in an effort to conserve ties slides down the inside of La Scierie at 100. Claudio seeing this jumps at the oppertunity and powers through the middle of the corner at 140, pulling alongside the leader!

The front pack behind them goes wide coming into La Scierie, as Pepe goes 140, Mario goes 160, and Rob is able to pull outside of the two at 160 with the help of Mario's Slipstream! Chris Brandt pushes his engine to 180 and dives in behind Pepe in anticipation of the corner.

Behind them, Tony and Chris Brown exit the corner at 160, with Chris pulling into Tony's slip. Josh exits the corner a car length behind them at 140, and Jack works his way through Gresil through the mid.

Christina pulls back ahead as the cars run through the two 120 corners and turn twoards the end of lap 1!

Turn 16 is Due Monday at 9pm Eastern

Turn 15 Summary

With a little bit of help from her tires, Christina is able to out race Claudio(Going 120) through Paradis at 140 and turns towards the start/finish to lead the first lap of the race!

In the front pack behind the leaders, Mario is the one who makes the move as he passes through La Scierie at 140 while Rob and Pepe conserve their tires and go 120. Chris Brandt uses this opportunity as well to go 140 with a little wear on his tires and pulls along the outside of Rob and Pepe.

Coming down to La Sciere, Tony goes 140 and decides to muscle his way through the corner to keep his tires up. Sliding it in with expertly places shifts, he does so successfully as he rolls through the middle(4 - Modified 6). Behind him, Chris Brown breaks his slip with Tony early and rolls up to the corner at 140. As he does, Joshua flies down the straight at full speed 180 and is able to sneak up his inside!

Jack works his way out of Gresil and down the straight at 160.

Claudio works his way back to the side of Christina as the lead has become a Drag Race down to D932!

Turn 17 is Due Wendesday at 9pm Eastern

Turn 16

Christina rolls down the straight at full speed(160) and watches as Claudio does the same(180) as he uses the the extra momentum to pull along side!

Coming up to Paradis, Mario take the middle at 120, and recaught up by the pack behind him, as Chris Brandt(140) and Pepe (120 Slip) pull along aside him. Rob, without a slip, resigns himself to simply taking the corner at speed at 120 and setting up to slip Chris in the next turn.

Tony completes the corner at 140, but has a minor hiccup and slides outside(NPR).
Josh slams on his breaks to make the corner at 120 and is able to get enough out of his car(9 - Modified 10) to slow down as glides his way through the inside. Chris Brown goes 120 through the middle and slides in behind Josh. Jack slides 120 through the inside as well and stretches the conga line behind Chris.

My Bad, it seems I miss judged movement spaces for the leaders, they are 1 more ahead. Thanks Claudio for catching that! Wendesday is now a soft deadline, with a hard deadline of thursday should it be needed(though I think we are ok)

Minor note from the RM: Please try to be as clear as you can about your move. I was a little confused on at least one driver on electing to slip or not.

And the leaders race down to corner with Claudio taking the inside advantage and possibly the lead!

Turn 18 is Due Friday at 11pm Eastern

Turn 17 Summary

Claudio uses some quick thinking to dive down to the corner at 160, using the middle lane of the non speed corner to scrub off speed and close on the corner on the inside. Christina runs the inside of it, and finds herself in the middle as the two reach D938.

In the front pack, Chris Brandt uses his engine to it's full potetial and pulls ahead of Pepe and Mario at 180, while the two are going 160. Having Chris Brandt as a Slipstream partner pays off for Rob, who is able to go 160 and take a double ship from Chris, passing Mario and Pepe on the outside and lining up beside Chris as they run down to the corner.

In the rear pack, Tony and Josh work their way through the middle of Paradis at 120 and form up on the inside nose to tail. Chris brown also runs the middle at 120, but ends up in the middle as he reaches the lip of the corner. Behind him Jack uses the slip he got off of Chris and a little tire work to blaze 120 through the inside, sliding up in front of Chris as he clears the corner.

The Packs Shift but no one budges as we continue through Lap 2.

Turn 19 is due Monday at 9pm Eastern

Turn 18 Summary

Claudio and Christina both take the corner wide at 120 and continue down the striaght neck and neck!

The front pack shifts but doesn't change, as both Rob and Chris Brandt race into D938 at 140 burning a little tire. Behind them, Mario takes the wide path to make the corner, and Pepe is hard on his breaks (5 Modifed 7) and is able to slow down to reach the lip of the corner with a slip!

The rear pack gets closer as Joshua uses his engine power at 180 to pull aside Tony at 160, and Chris Brown's slip of Jack pull him aside, both going 160

Quite a difference between today's cars and that of Musso in 1957.

The two leaders don't give the other an inch as they push through Six Ferens

Turn 20 is due Wendesday at 9pm Eastern

RMs note: Please know that by RRL PBEM rules, a driver that NPRs at any time is subject to be removed from the race. While I will judge the place of such removals, I am simply noting to keep in mind.

Turn 19 Summary

Claudio and Christina run through Six Ferens two wide at 100 and 120, keeping themselves neck and neck and they roll down to the dreaded Nouveau Monde Hairpin.

Back at D938, Chris Brandt keeps his momentum at 140 and pulls ahead of rob, or decelerates to 120 and pulls in behind Chris.
Mario shoots through the corner at 140, and pull out beside Rob on the outside.
With no room ahead, Pepe elects to take the easier path, and runs the corner through the middle at 120, pulling up behind Rob.

The radio from the BAR garage is filled with sounds of arguing as it seems the driver and team boss are not on the same page on strategy. Such arguing ends up causing Joshua to be caught off gaurd by D938, and has to quickly work the wheel to slide through the corner at 160(NPR)

Tony on the other hand runs the corner through the middle at a softer 140, as he watches Josh slip ahead.

Chris and Jack use their slipstreams to pull up to the corner mouth at 120 and 140, Jack using his extra speed to make sure he keeps the inside line as he takes the longer way through turn 1.

Hey all,

So it seems I missinterpreted NPR rules.

The rule isn't that it's max decel 20 mph, but that it can only go a maximum of 20 faster than the corner. Between that and using the non-speed corner to scrub off speed, Joshua's NPR move is actually 140, ending outside right before D938.

Corrected graphic is up and as usual Hard Deadline is pushed back to Midday Thursday, though this I think only affects Joshua so Soft Deadline is still Wendesday Night

Hey all,

So next deadline will be shifted for this adjustment. Deadline will be below.

Also, due to we are going to have a couple drivers away at WBC, other races are taking a break for it, and we are way ahead of C4 at this point, I am setting all deadlines between now and the 31st to soft. This means I will only run the next turn if all drivers have submitted, and the turn will be processed at the time of the next deadline(ie if all drivers submit by Tuesday, the next turn will process Wendesday Night). If you guys have any questions just let me know

Turn 21 has a soft deadline of Saturday at 9pm Eastern

Turn 20 Summary

Christina out races Claudio to Nouveau Monde at 140 as Claudio goes 120, retaking the lead as they approach the Hairpin.

The front pack shifts a little as Chris Brandt, Rob, Mario, and Pepe navigate Six Ferens at 100, 120, 120, and 100 with a split, as the group sizes themselves up for Nouveau Monde

In the rear back, Tony finishes the corner at 120, and watches a refocused Joshua burn rubber and come along side him at 140. Chris Brown and Jack file in behind them at 120 and 100 respetivly

Orders are in so we Adjunticate!

Turn 22 has a soft deadline of Wendesday at 9pm Eastern

Turn 21 Summary

Christina pushes her breaks to the limits (7 Modified 8) and wrangles the car around the inside at 80. Claudio follows quickly behind her at 80, hugging the inside.

Behind them, Chris Brandt, Rob, and Mario reach the corner at 100, 120 and 120 respectivly, Rob starting off at 140 and hitting the breaks(3 Modified 4) to gain the inside advantage on Mario.

At Six Ferens, Tony and Joshua run through the outside lane each at 120, before lining back up side by side at the exit. Chris Brown follows them through at 120, lining up behind Tony. Jack attempts to do so as well, but as he reaches the corner, he can see he's closing on the front two too fast, and deftly slams the breaks, before easing it down the inside at 100

A puff of smoke is seen coming from the back of the Purple car as it seems to almost struggle down the straightaway as the rest of the field works on Navigating the hairpin!

PS: New version of the setup! Hope the cars don't look so blurry from now on!

Turn 23 has a Hard Deadline of Wendesday at 9pm Eastern

Turn 22 Summary

Christina asks her car to give a little more as she attempting 140 down to D132, but it seems to be asking to much as a loud *SKRUNK* can be heard and a puff of smoke comes out of the car as it stuggles down the straight at 120(Roll of 10)

Claudio takes advantage of the loss of speed as he rolls up to the outside of Christina as the fight for the lead is on agian!

The front group works it's way through Nouveau Monde. Mario goes wide at 100 and is passed by a tight turning Rob at 80. Chris Brandt follows Rob though at 60, fitting himself into a position also to collect a slip from Rob next turn as does Mario.

Pepe follows the group trhough at 100, reaching the lip of the corner to set for the next.

The Rear group sets itself up for Nouveau Monde. Josh and Tony run 120 up to the corner, moving in lock step. Behind them, Chris Brown uses Tony's slip at 120 to thread the needle between Joshua and Jack and end up on their inside, while Jack goes 120 and sits inside behind Chris Brown.

Turn 24 has a Deadline of Fridfay at 11pm Eastern

Turn 23 Summary

Claudio outbreaks Christina as he goes 100 into D132 through the inside. Christina follows him through and lines up behind at 80.

Rob approaches the corner at 140 and watches Chris Brandt pull alongside at 140 as he gets every ounce of power he can out of his engine(9 - Modified 11)as well having used Rob's slipstream. Mario having been pushed off the slip by Chris settles in behind Rob at 140, and Pepe going 140 as well pulls behind him.

Chris Brown wins the three way challenge through Nouveau Monde and wings it through the inside of the corner, Joshua follows him through on the inside and sets himself up outside of Chris.
