Gents,

Kevin is taking a leave of absence and Don Tatum is jumping into the #50.

I forgot about the Monday holiday so deadlines are pushed back.

Bids: Tuesday, October 11th @ 12 noon EST (4 p.m. GMT)

Turn 1: Thursday, October 13th @ 12 noon EST (4 p.m. GMT)

We'll get back on the M/W/F schedule the following week.

Builds are in. Mossman, Hancock, & Tatum all have the same 'from the back' setup. Incorpora & Torrezn look to run in front of the peleton with identical cars. LaMorte & Ales also have the same ride.

FYI: I'm publishing early. This may happen on occasion if all plots are in and time permits. If, for any reason, you wish to submit a preliminary plot (i.e. not final), please let me know in your email. Otherwise, all plots are considered final.

We ARE using the kinder, gentler start table that is now part of CFR rules. No permanent damage to the car - yay!

Here are the charts for your reference: http://lucidphoenix.com/sc/rules/core/chart.asp

Bids were fairly mild with six getting the pole. Otherwise, a pretty even distribution of bids with several ties.

Turn 1 Deadline: Thursday, October 13th @ 12 noon EST (4 p.m. GMT)

Reminder: Default position is inside unless pre-submitted defaults indicate otherwise (Giuseppe, you filled out the whole form except for that one question - ugh).

Five cars roll the dice on the start with only one mis-shift.

Turn 1 Summary
Torrezn pushes to 120 with his big chip (modified -1) and grabs the line. LaMorte pushes to 80 with 2s (modified 6). Incorpora also passes the start roll with his 3s chip (modified 4) but fails to designate a lane. Bad break for the #8.

Orlandi moves forward at 60. Ales parks behind the #18 at 60. Bauska opts for the middle lane at 20.

Ling pulls in behind the #88 at 60. Brandt applied 1s to his 80 start roll (modified 9) and with the mis-shift, replots to 40.

Tatum pushes to 40 with 2s (modified 3) and tucks in behind the #5. Brown, Hancock, and Mossman all move at 20.

Incorpora approaches The Wall on the inside at 100. At 120, Ales sets up the line. Ling, at 120 and the bonus, tucks in between the #18 & #88.

Brandt grabs the tailpipe on the Interstate Chevy at 120 and the slip. Bauska climbs the hill at 80. Tatum passes the #94 at 120 and gets the bonus.

Brown works his way up to the Wall at 80. Mossman pushes his engine with 2sp (modified 9) and narrowly averts damage to run 120. Hancock pulls alongside the #38 at 100.

Wow... an early spin with no harm to anyone else!

Turn 3 Summary
Torrezn separates from the pack at 140, taking the line on the Bridge for free. Incorpora, at 120, runs the Bridge 120 for free.

LaMorte continues through The Wall at 80. Orlandi clips 2 tires in the 40 spot at The Wall and pulls alongside the #2.

Ling runs the The Wall on the outside rail for 2 wear at 100 before diving back inside. Ales, at 100, can't exit the line so he burns off some speed in the 60's and tucks in behind the #18.

Brandt shows off his car's brakes by dropping to 40 and running The Wall for free on the inside rail. Tatum burns a wear through the groove in the Wall at 80.

Bauska mis-reads the track and blasts into the Wall at 120. He drops 2 wear and turns to the chance table (naked 9) putting the golden arches into a spin.

Mossman grabs the line for The Wall at 100 (he did not request a slip although in his defense, who would have expected one). Brown, at 120, slides to the inside of the #14. Hancock, also at 120, grabs the inside lane, and two spots, in front of The Wall.

Turn 4 Deadline: Friday, October 21st @ 8 a.m. EST (12 noon GMT)

An uneventful turn...

Turn 4 Summary
Torrezn continues through the Esses at 140, dropping 3 wear total, 1 in S1 and 2 in S2 in the grooves. Incorpora runs the S1 line for free at 120.

LaMorte takes the line over the Bridge at 140 for free. Orlandi trades paint with the #2 and stays abreast, also at 140.

Ling and Ales both hit the Bridge line at 140 and form a rolling block in front of the Esses.

Tatum gets the initiative at 140 and takes the groove over the Bridge for free. Brandt grabs the line in front of the Bridge at 120. Bauska comes out of his spin at 20 as he continues through The Wall on the outer rail.

Brown gets the initiative at 80 and clips 2 tires in the 40's on The Wall. Hancock burns a wear at 60 in the 40 to stay alongside the #38. Mossman conserves wear in the groove at 60 as he traverses The Wall.

Everyone plays nice through the Esses...

Turn 5 Summary
Torrezn extends his lead at 140 on the straight. Incorpora saves some wear at 100 on the S2 line.

Orlandi gets initiative at 140 and knocks off three tires in the Esses, one in S1 and two in S2. He sits on the exhaust of the #8. LaMorte, at 120, takes S1 on the line for free then clips a tire in the S2 line.

Ling runs the groove in S1 for free at 120. Ales follows, also at 120. With the slip, he ducks in front of the #17 and enters S2 in the 100's for a wear.

Tatum hits the S1 groove for free at 120. Brandt runs the Bridge on the line for free at 140 then drops into S2 for a wear in the 120's.

Brown, Hancock, and Mossman all take the Bridge for free on the line, in that order. Bauska works his way off The Wall at 60.

Torrezn puts a five-space lead on the strung out field. The European contingent is dominating Texas so far with 5 of the top 6 places. With a name like LaMorte, Tony can't be far removed from the Old Country either...

Note: Double check your plots before you send 'em. I interpret them as literally as I can!

Turn 6 Summary
Torrezn rockets into the Triangle at 140 on the outside rail for 2 wear.

Incorpora runs the straight at 140. Orlandi rides the tail of the #8 at 140 then comes aside him with the bonus.

LaMorte races onto the straight at 140. Ales must continue S2 at 120. Ling runs S2 on the line for free at 100 and tucks in behind the #88.

Tatum takes the S2 groove for free at 100. Brandt drops to 100 and opts for the S2 100's?

Hancock gets the initiative at 140, shaves a tire on the S1 line followed by 2 more on the S2 line. Brown is happy to save wear at 120, taking the S1 groove for free. He specifically requests the inside lane, maybe suspecting a blocked line?

Mossman follows the #38 through the S1 groove at 120 and with the slip, grabs the vacant S2 line. Bauska uses his big chip to run his car at 140 (no roll necessary) and takes the line over the Bridge for free.

Three cars are through the Triangle. Who said Italians can't race stock cars?!

Turn 7 Summary
Torrezn drops to 100 to finish Triangle through the 60 spot with wear already paid.

Incorpora starts at 120 then hits the brakes w/ 2s (modified 7) to take the Triangle line at 100 for 2 wear. Orlandi exceeds his deceleration for a wear to 80 then tucks inside of the #8 for 2 more wear in the Triangle 40.

La Morte grabs the Triangle line at 140. Ales, at 140, runs inside of the #2. Ling makes it three-wide going into the Triangle at 140 plus the slip. He has inside position.

Tatum runs the straight at 160. Hancock races out of the Esses with the initiative at 160. Brandt, at 140, grabs the tailpipe on the #3 Intimidator.

Brown runs S2 in the 100's at 100 for free. Mossman uses the S2 groove for free at 100 and ducks in front of the #38. Bauska burns 3 tires in the Esses at 140 on the lines.

Most cars are through the Triangle. If you don't have a flag in the chart, I haven't received your preference (you're not required to have one).

Turn 8 Summary
Torrezno hits the long straight at 140. Orlandi and Incorpora trade paint down the stretch, both at 140.

Ales has the initiative at 100 and clips 2 wear on the outer rail, blocking the line. LaMorte opts to follows the #88 through the Triangle for 2 wear, finishing on the inside. Ling scrapes off 2 tires at 80 through the Triangle 40 and bolts between the blue cars.

Tatum burns a wear at 80 on the Triangle line. Hancock, at 100, does not designate a corner preference and takes the cost-free outside lane. Brandt drops speed to 100, grabbing the inside lane in front of the Triangle.

Mossman pulls up onto the Triangle line at 160. Brown's 'BOO' car, at 140 and the bonus, stays on the tailpipe of the #14. Bauska races out of S2 at 160 onto the straight.

The back end of the field leaves some rubber in the Triangle...

Look at all those cool flags, eh?!

Turn 9 Summary

Torrezno pulls up to The 90 on the outer groove at 140. Orlandi, at 160, also grabs the outside line. Incorpora taps the bumper of the #18 at 140.

Ling maxes his accel to 140. LaMorte keeps the pace at 140 and tucks in behind the #17. Ales pulls alongside the #2, also at 140. Tatum shows off his big engine to hit 160, tucking in behind the #88.

Hancock finishes the Triangle on the outer rail at 100 for 2 wear. Mossman gets the initiative at 80, dropping a tire on the Triangle line. Brandt runs the Triangle at 60, clipping a wear in the 40 spot.

Brown finds his line blocked at 100 and diverts to the outer rail for 2 tires. He grabs the tailpipe on the #14. Bauska races into the Triangle at 120 and burns a tire in the 100's.

Ling grabs the outer line at 160. LaMorte stays with the #17 at 140 plus the bonus, also opting for the second line. Ales, at 140, chooses the inside line. Tatum tucks in behind the #2 at 160.

Hancock runs the long straight at 160. Mossman gets the initiative at 160 and grabs the tailpipe on the #3. Brandt runs to the outside of the #14 at 140 plus the slip. Brown, at 160, waives the slip and drops in behind the #5. Bauska finishes the Triangle at 80.

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. I'm not sure which track Pepe thought he was on but based on his plot, it wasn't this one. Could a mis-plot have just put Pepe in front for good?

Turn 11 Summary
Pepe 140 plot puts him into the Hairpin 80's for 2 wear and a roll on the chance table. With 2sp, per his posted defaults, he keeps control of his car (modified 4) and extends the lead.

Orlandi pulls up to the Hairpin at 80. Incorpora, at 100, sits on the right panel of the #18.

Ling clips a tire on The 90 line at 100. Lamorte scrapes off 2 in the same groove at 120.

At 100, Ales burns 2 tires on the inner line in The 90's. Tatum shows off his braking power at 80, taking the outer line for free.

Hancock pulls up to The 90 on the inner line at 140. Mossman grabs the outside line at 160. Brandt, at 140, grabs the tailpipe on the #14. Brown begins the outside line at 140 plus the bonus.

Bauska pushes the engine with 1s (modified 6) to get up to 160.

Turn 12 Deadline: Wednesday, November 9th @ 8 a.m. EST (1 p.m. GMT)
I will not be able to adjudicate at the normal time Wednsday so I'm pushing it forward by several hours.
