Did you know... COTA was the first track built in the US specifically for F1 racing. The first F1 race was run on November 18th, 2012.

Turn 13 Summary
Torrezno extends his lead and dives into the Paddock 100 at 120 for a wear.

Orlandi slow plays the Amphitheater at 60 through the 60's. Incorpora runs the Amphitheater 80's at 100 for a wear. Ling, also at 100, clips a wear in the 80's and gets hung up in the corner.

LaMorte saves wear at 80 in the Amphitheater 80. Ales continues the Hairpin at 80. Tatum drops a tire in the Hairpin 60 at 80 before pulling alongside the #88.

Hancock burns a wear at 100 in the Hairpin 80's. Brown careens through the Hairpin 80's at 120 and sits on the side panel of the #3.

Mossman takes it easy in the Hairpin 80's at 80. Brandt runs in the Hairpin 100's at 100 for free.

An NPR from Bauska gives the #94 an RM plot of 100 and costs 2 wear in the 60's (line not allowed under Redscape's NPR rules).

A comment about mis-plots: In league races, I do not fish for corrections on what are obvious mis-plots. Brown's plot (ok, this was his third option but, whatever...) specifically said to enter the corner for 2 wear and then brake to 100. There is no reason to do this - he should've braked prior to the corner to save a wear - but I am obliged to go by the plot.* We saw this in C2 with a car going into the wall due to a mis-plot. Again, this is for league races only where RM's should be consistent throughout. Corrections can be asked for in non-league races where it's at RM discretion.

* Chris may be under the assumption that he can speed back up to 120 next turn since he paid the 2 wear. Under CFR rules, the wear advantage is lost with the late brake - he will have to continue at 100.

Turn 14 Summary
Torrezno drops to 100 in the Paddock and approaches lap 2.

Orlandi and Incorpora trade paint at 120. Ling finishes out the Amphitheater at 100.

LaMorte continues through the Amphitheater at 80. Tatum gets the initiative, taking the Amphitheater 80's for free at 80. Ales, at 60, runs the Amphitheater 60's for free.

Brown gets the initiative at 120 and with all preferred routes blocked, rockets into the 80's for 2 wear followed by a late brake, 2s applied (modified 5). Hancock, at 100, is left with few choices and runs the outer rail in the Amphitheater for free.

Mossman continues the Hairpin at 80. Brandt drops to 80, avoiding wear payment in the Hairpin, and tucks in behind the #14. Bauska has contact with the field again, clipping a wear in the Hairpin 80's at 100.

A few race notes:

- Torrezno has started on lap 2! Will anybody haul him in?
- Brown & Hancock both overplotted legal speed and were slowed down by the RM.
- Bauska changed his flag to that of the Latvian town of Bauska, the land of his forebears.

Turn 15 Summary
Torrezno speeds towards The Wall at 140.

Incorpora gets the initiative at 120 and clips two tires in the Paddock 80's. Orlandi, at 100, burns a wear in the Paddock 80's before grabbing the tailpipe on the #8. Ling runs the Paddock 80's at 100 for a wear.

LaMorte nicks a tire as he pulls into the Paddock 100's at 120. Ales and Tatum trade paint at 120.

Brown's illegal plot of 120 is a no-go. He is replotted at 100 to finish the Amphitheater. Hancock's 120 plot is also illegal. She is replotted to 100 and burns a wear in the Amphitheater as her lane speed is decreasing.

Mossman drops to 60 and takes the Amphitheater 60's for free. Brandt scrapes off a tire in the Amphitheater 80's at 100. Bauska runs the outer rail of the Amphitheater at 100 for free.
