The top three break away, the mid-pack strings out.

Next deadline: turn 24 due Friday, November 18 at 6pm EST/11pm UTC

Turn 23 summary:
Kal pushes his acceleration with one skill (modified 8) and holds the inside. William maxes his acceleration to 160 to pull next to the leader. Jeff hits his top speed of 140 but with a slip stays with William. Cody finishes the Triangle at 100 for already paid wear and ducks inside.

Will didn't have the Triangle line so he runs the outside at 100 shedding two wear and coming back inside. Brad uses the racing line scrubbing off two wear and taking 5th back from Will. Chris slows to 80 and runs the outside of the Triangle knocking one wear off his tires.

Simone gets the jump on Ken at 100 and uses two wear to take the racing line and grab 7th. Ken anticipating that Simone would move first slows to 80 and takes the line behind him for a wear and moves into 8th. Grant takes the S1 line at 120 for free and sets up for the S2 line.

We have a new leader!

Next deadline: turn 25 due Monday, November 21 at 6pm EST/11pm UTC

Turn 24 summary:
William grabs the lead with a 160 move and sets up on the outer racing line. Kal at 140 follows onto the same line. Jeff plots 120 and takes a slip from William to stay on Kal's wing.

Cody maxes his engine and stays inside. Brad also gets all his powerplant will give and slides in behind Cody. Will test his engine twice, once for acceleration (modified 3) and once for top speed (modified 6) and passes both tests to pull even with Brad.

Simone gets his top speed of 140 and moves inside. Ken uses the inside advantage to move before Chris and hangs with the purple machine. However Chris gets a slip from Simone and is able to get 8th position away from Ken. Grant finishes the Esses with one wear point on the S2 line and keeps to the inside.

Two "sloppy" plots and an npr all hurt their drivers. I hate It when these happen but in the interest of fairness both to other C2 drivers as well as consistency across circuits, I have not choice.

Next deadline: turn 26 due Wednesday, November 23 at 6pm EST/11pm UTC.
Note: there will be no turn scheduled for Friday the 25th due to the traditional Thanksgiving long weekend in the U.S. However, if I get all moves by then I believe I will have the opportunity to resolve the turn.

Turn 25 summary:
William flies through The 90 outer line at 120 shedding two wear and stretching his lead. Kal plots 100 then late brakes before the corner, taking the outer racing line for free. Jeff anticipates this move and plots 80 to follow Kal around the corner for free.

Cody approaches The 90 at 120, grabbing the inner line. Brad reaches the corner at 140 in the middle lane. (Note: Brad specified to end in "lane 2" and therefore is not on the racing line.) Will takes an RM plot and does 100 finishing in the middle lane. (His car is capable of slowing to that speed and the assumption is next turn he would decelerate 20 and take 0 wear in the corner. The only way that is possible is to finish in the middle so he could move outside next turn. If he were to plot 120 it would not be possible to do so. Also, Will may not use the racing line next turn.)

Chris maxes his speed to 160 and finishes inside. (Chris did not specify a finish lane. The default is inside. He cannot reach either racing line from his current position.) Simone keeps the pedal down at 140 setting up on the outer racing line for The 90. Ken does 160 and keeps on the wing of Chris's silver machine. Grant approaches the Triangle at a cautious 120 grabbing the racing line.

1st and 10th place are the only two that didn't change this turn.

Next deadline: turn 27 due Monday, November 28 at 6pm EST/11pm UTC

Turn 26 summary:
William slows to 80 around the middle lane of the Hairpin for free. Kal enters the Hairpin 100 at 100 for free. Jeff also does 100 and approaches the corner on the inside. (Note: Kal and Jeff are in the same row so order of movement will be determined by speed or track position.)

Cody brakes to 60 around the inside of The 90 then slides outside to block the racing line. Brad takes the middle lane of The 90 at 100 scrubbing off two wear and drops in front of Cody. Chris uses all his brakes to get down to 100 and takes the outside lane knocking off one wear.

Will drops to 80 and stays outside in The 90 for free. Ken covers The 90's inner line at 100 nicking two wear off his tires. Simone spends one wear to take the outer racing line at 100. Grant drops one wear around the Triangle line at 80.

Welcome back, gentlemen. Only one position change as the field negotiates the tightest section of the course.

Next deadline: turn 28 due Wednesday, November 30 at 6pm EST/11pm UTC

Turn 27 summary:
William chops off one wear point in the Amphitheater 80s at 100. Jeff covers the Hairpin 60 at 80 and pays one wear. Kal slows to 80 and finishes the Hairpin for free.

Brad slows to 80 and clears the Hairpin 80s. Cody also plots 80 but he sheds one wear on the Hairpin 60 space to pick up 4th from Brad. Ken keeps it at 100 and begins the Hairpin on the outside so as not to stress his tires.

Simone comes off The 90 at 100 and sets up on the inside to enter the Hairpin. Chris also does 100 but is forced to the middle lane with Simone on the inside. Will maintains 80 finishing The 90 at no cost and stays inside. Grant slams the pedal down using two skill to acceleration (modified 5) and finishes his 160 move in the middle.

Three wide and one lurking at the Amphitheater.

Next deadline: turn 29 due Friday, December 2 at 6pm EST/11pm UTC

Turn 28 summary:
William finishes the Amphitheater 80s for already paid wear. Jeff takes the 80s at 80 for free. Kal scrubs off one wear through the 60s at 80 and regains 2nd place.

Cody drives around the Amphitheater 100s at 120 shedding one wear. Brad follows at 100 on his bald tires. Ken slows to 80 to finish the Hairpin on the outside for free.

Simone maxes his brakes to 60 around the inside of the Hairpin and pulls even with Ken. Chris slows to 80 through the 80s and makes it three wide with Ken and Simone. Will attacks the outside lane of the Hairpin at 120 scraping off two wear and grabbing Ken's wing. Grant keeps the pedal down at 160 and slides outside to set up on The 90 racing line.

A mostly quiet turn except for the dice being cruel to Grant again.

Next deadline: turn 30 due Monday, December 5 at 6pm EST/11pm UTC

Turn 29 summary:
William clears the Paddock corner at 80 for free and prepares to stretch his lead down the main straight. Kal and Jeff come out of the Amphitheater side by side at 120, Kal keeping his inside advantage.

Cody finishes the Amphitheater corner at 100 for already paid wear. Brad is forced to slow to 80 to clear the corner and he stays inside. Ken runs the Amphitheater 80s at 100 scraping off one wear.

With Ken in the 80s Simone taps the brakes with one skill (modified 3) and takes the 60s at 80 shedding one wear. Chris's 100 plot takes him into the outside lane of the Amphitheater corner and costs him one wear. Will follows right behind Chris at 100 for free. Grant tests his brakes with one skill (modified 1) and starts The 90's outer racing line for one wear and a one skill chance roll (modified 7) and spins for the second time in this race.

William stretches his lead. Three wide at the entrance to the Paddock corner.

Next deadline: turn 31 due Wednesday, December 7 at 6pm EST/11pm UTC

Turn 30 summary:
William exits the Paddock and makes a naked acceleration roll (9) to hit his top speed of 160, beginning lap 3. Jeff sheds one wear in the Paddock 80s at 100 and finishes outside to foil Kal's slip opportunity. However, Kal takes the Paddock 80s at speed for free and requests to finish in a slip position, foiling Jeff's plan.

Cody is NPR and slows to 80 taking the Paddock outside lane. Brad hits 100 as he sets up on the inside in front of the Paddock. Simone uses his inside advantage and plots 120 to finish beside Brad.

Ken also plots 120 but the only room left at the entrance to the Paddock is the outside lane. Chris finishes the Amphitheater outside at 100 for already paid wear. Will slows to 80 and also finishes the outside but for free. Grant recovers from his second spin and keeps it in the middle. (Word from the pits is Grant's radio is melting and rumor has it he'll be on a different brand of tire at Watkins Glen.)

The leaders string out but the mid-pack is still tight.

Next deadline: turn 32 due Friday, December 9 at 6pm EST/11pm UTC

turn 31 summary:
William overstresses his brakes (10) and they protest. He's down 20mph on his deceleration and loses a wear point in addition to the two he spends on the racing line. Jeff maxes his acceleration to 140 and sets up in the middle lane approaching the Wall. Kal plots 100 but gets an extra space on the slip from Jeff.

Cody finishes the Paddock corner at 100 through the outer 80s shedding one wear and dropping inside. All three of the drivers at the threshold of the Paddock make identical moves, all doing 80 through the 80s for free and looking for a slip position. Brad succeeds in finding the only one available.

Will is NPR and enters the Paddock 100 for free. Grant challenges the Hairpin 80s at 100 scrubbing off one wear in payment.

A quiet turn; no position changes. The mid pack approaches the Wall.

Next deadline: turn 33 due Monday, December 12 at 6pm EST/11pm UTC

Turn 32 summary:
William completes the line at 100 and stays inside. Jeff dips into his wear advantage by dropping two on the Wall racing line at 100. Kal slows to 80 setting up on the line just in front of the corner.

Cody roars down the straightaway at 160 grabbing the wing of the orange car on the racing line. Brad maxes his acceleration to 140, gets a slip from Cody and finishes in the middle to be able to grab the line next turn. Simone tests his acceleration with one skill (modified 7) and reaches 140mph staying inside.

Ken matches Simone's speed and stays right beside him. Chris comes off the Paddock corner at 140 keeping up with the two in front of him. Will finishes the Paddock at 100 through the 80s shedding one wear. Grant also leaves one wear in the Amphitheater 80s at 100.

It's now a two car fight up front and Jeff has a sizeable wear advantage. The next seven are still close.

Next deadline: turn 34 due Wednesday, December 14 at 6pm EDT/11pm UTC

Turn 33 summary:
William takes the Bridge racing line at 140 for free. Jeff does the same to hold the gap steady. Kal slows to 60 and covers The Wall racing line for free.

Cody plots 100 but with Kal still on the line is forced around the outside, shedding two wear but taking 3rd place nonetheless. Brad challenges the inside of The Wall at 60 with a naked chance roll (8) and around he goes. Simone gets lucky that Brad spun inside and is able to round the racing line at 100 scuffing off two wear.

Ken uses his big brakes to get down to 60 on the racing line. Chris approaches the corner at 100 and wanted the line but with Ken there is forced down a lane. Will catches the tail end of the pack by using his big acceleration and grabs the wing of Ken's race car on the racing line. Grant finishes the Amphitheater corner at 100 (wear already paid) and keeps it midway between the curbs.

Our leader is off the track and out of the race!

Next deadline: turn 35 due Friday, December 16 at 6pm EST/11pm UTC

Turn 34 summary:
William attempts to coax his damaged brakes to slow the car to 100 entering S1, but a naked 10 causes a complete failure and he goes off course with no brakes left. Everyone picks up at least one spot. Jeff hits the S2 line at 120 for free. Cody covers the Bridge racing line at 140 for free.

Kal makes a naked acceleration roll (5) to get to 120 and grabs the line behind Cody. Simone finishes the Wall racing line at 140 and gets a slip from Cody to pull even with Kal in the Bridge corner. Brad recovers from his spin at 60 keeping inside.

Chris gets the jump on Ken and takes the outside of The Wall at 80 shedding one wear and finishing on the racing line. Ken holds steady at 60 but with the line blocked is forced outside for free. Will also wants the racing line at 80 but with Chris blocking it he's forced into the middle lane. He scrubs off two wear but with the leader going off course he picks up a total of three positions! Grant knocks a wear off in the Paddock 80s at 100 and prepares to attack the main straight.

No excitement on the track this turn, 'Mater tows William's crippled car to the garage.

Next deadline: turn 36 due Monday, December 19 at 6pm EST/11pm UTC

Turn 35 summary:
Jeff finishes the Esses at 100 for free. Cody covers S1 at 120 on the line at no cost. Kal also does 120 into S2 saving that precious last wear point.

Simone gets a slip off Cody and follows into S1 around the outside. Brad gets up to 120 and clears the Bridge corner. Will does 140 through the Bridge for free and grabs onto Brad's tailpipe.

Chris does 140 but with the Bridge line blocked by Will heads outside in the corner. Ken maxes his acceleration getting to 120 and with the slip from Chris is able to grab the Bridge line and pick up 7th place. Grant finishes lap 2 and stares down The Wall.
