A fight over 3rd starts stringing out the leaders.

Next Deadline: Turn 11 plots due Monday, November 14 at 8am EST/1pm UTC
(hard deadline). I'll process early if everything is in early.

Turn 10 Results
Turyko goes 120 on the outer racing line for 2 wear. Giovanni follows at 100 for 1 wear. Tim goes 120, and finding his line blocked, opts for the outside lane for 2 wear and moves inside to block the inner line when he finishes the corner. With his line blocked, Jim goes 100 through the 60s for 2 wear and finishes inside of Tim. Fabio goes 100 on the outer line for a wear.

Doug and Dave each go 140, where they grab the Inner and Outer racing lines, respectively. Marshall goes 160 and finishes to the outside. [RM Note: Next turn Doug will go first, Dave next, and then Marshall regardless of speed due to how the spaces line up.]

Rando goes 120 and takes the slip from Dave onto the Inner line. Chris charges down the straight at 160 to finish inside of Rando. John goes 140 but was going faster than Rando so didn't get a slip. He finishes behind Chris. Mike goes 140 and takes the outer line.

The flags are in place, I've got country flags except for Doug and Mike, who selected that stylish Maryland banner and the flag of the Old Dominion, respectively. If I mistook your country, or you'd like a US state flag, please let me know with your plots.

Next Deadline: Turn 12 plots due Wednesday, November 16 at 8am EST/1pm UTC (soft deadline). Hard deadline is Thursday at the same time.

Turn 11 Results
Turyko goes 80 through the Hairpin 80s for free. Giovanni goes 100 and takes the same route for a wear. Jim and Tim also go 100; Jim into the 100 space for free while Tim uses the 60 space for 2 wear to pass Jim and squeeze inside of Giovanni. Fabio also goes 100 and lines up to the inside before the Hairpin. [RM Note: Fabio's space lines up with Jim's even though he is not technically within the corner, so he is inside for order-of-movement purposes next turn.]

Doug goes 80 on the inner RL of The 90 for free. Dave also goes 80, but takes the outer RL for free. Marshall goes 100 through the outside for a wear and ends inside of Dave. [RM note: Marshall goes last due to the alignment of the spaces.]

Chris plots 80, moves to the middle and then late brakes (naked 6) to 60 and uses the 60s for free. Rando plots 60 on the inner RL for free. John goes 120 and uses the outer lane for 2 wear to pull to the outside of Rando. Mike plots 80 and with the racing line blocked gets stranded in the outside lane.

Hey all - wheels came off the RM trailer here for a few days, my apologies. We'll aim for at least one more turn this week given the Thanksgiving Holiday in the US.

Next Deadline: Turn 13 plots due Wednesday at 8am EST/1pm UTC (hard deadline). If I receive all plots early I will attempt to process early.

Turn 12 Results
Turyko, Tim, and Giovanni all go 120 into the Amphitheater. Turyko and Giovanni take the 80s for 2 wear each, while Tim opts for the 100s for 1. Jim goes 100 in the Hairpin 80s for a wear while Fabio takes the 60s at 80 for a wear.

Doug goes 60 into the 60 space in the hairpin for free. Dave goes 100 and sheds a wear on the Hairpin 80s. Marshall goes 80 and with his first choice 60 space occupied, instead follows Dave into the 80s for free.

Rando goes 100 and heads into the Hairpin 100 space for free. John goes 80 and ends inside of Rando before the corner. Chris goes 100 out of the corner and ends in the middle lane. [RM: John goes before Chris regardless of speed.]

Mike maintains 80 to finish The 90.

The leaders string out a bit but we've got a bunch up ahead of the Amphitheater!

Next Deadline: Turn 14 plots due Monday, November 28 at 8am EST/1pm UTC
(hard deadline). If I have all plots, I will process the turn early over the holiday weekend.

Turn 13 Results
Turyko puts the pedal to the metal and tears out of the Amphitheater at 140, hitting the Paddock 100 space for 2 wear. Giovanni continues at 120 and ends inside. Tim slows to 100 in the 80s for the already-paid wear and also ends inside.

Jim goes 80 in the 80s for free. Fabio also goes 80, but opts for the 60 lane for a wear and moves as far inside as possible. Doug goes 120 and takes 80s behind Jim for 2 wear, while Dave follows him at 80 for free.

Marshall continues at 80 out of the Hairpin and ends inside befor the Amphitheater. Rando continues at 100 for a wear in the outer lane and pulls even with Marshall. John goes 80 in the 60 for a wear to make it three wide.

Chris goes 80 in the middle lane for free and grab's Marshall's spoiler. Mike takes the same route at 80 for free.

Apologies on the delay, this week we get back on track. I keep saying that, one of these days it will take. :)

Next Deadline: Turn 15 plots due Tuesday, December 6 at 8am EST/1pm UTC
(hard deadline).

Turn 14 Results
Turyko goes 120 for the already paid wear on the outside. Giovanni slows to 100 in the 60s for 2 wear and settles into draft position behind the black car. Tim goes 100 and clears Paddock for a wear through the 80s. Fabio follows at 120 into the corner for 2 wear. Jim also goes 120 and slips into the 100 space in Paddock for a wear.

Doug maintains 120 out of the Amphitheater for the already-paid wear.

Dave continues at 80 and clears the corner as well. Marshall goes 120 in the 80s for 2 wear and slides in front of Dave. Rando and John each go 80 for free, Rando in the 80s and John gets forced outside. Chris goes 80 in the 60s for a wear to edge ahead of both of them.

Mike goes 60 for free.

We have a new leader! Things continue to string out, except for ahead of Paddock, where we have 3 wide!

Next Deadline: Turn 16 plots due Tuesday, December 13 at 8am EST/1pm UTC. Will attempt to process earlier if received earlier.

Turn 15 Results
Turyko goes 140 down the straight and grabs the racing line. Giovanni follows at 140 with a slip, and pulls up inside of him.

Tim goes 140 out of Paddock to start his second lap. Fabio continues at 120 for the already-paid wear while Jim slows to 100 to conform with the declining speed limit. Doug also goes 100 but sheds a wear on the 80s to line up behind Jim.

Marshall and Dave each go 100, with Marshall dropping a wear on the Paddock 80s. Chris and Rando accelerate to 120 and line up next to Dave to make it 3-wide before the corner.

John and Mike each clear Amphitheater at 80 for free.

Drivers: An important announcement, effective immediately. Chris Hancock will be taking over RM duties for COTA C1 starting with Turn 17. Please send your plots to him at chancocknh(at)att(dot)net. Thanks Chris!

For Watkins Glen, Brad Bauska will take the reins as RM. This has been fun, but I am just not able to keep up with the other circuits right now. Will still be racing, and will probably run an exhibition race at some point if things calm down, but that will be at a slower pace (and not tied to other circuits).

Turyko reclaims the top spot while Fabio, Doug, and Rando all make moves.

Next Deadline: Turn 17 plots due to chancocknh(at)att(dot)net at a date/time that he will specify. Feel free to send them to him right away.

Turn 16 Results
Giovanni goes 100 in the outside lane of The Wall for 2 wear, then moves to the middle lane. Turyko also goes 100, but takes the line for 2 wear and moves back into first place.

Tim slows to 100 and grabs the line ahead of The Wall. Fabio goes 140 and takes the inside lane. Jim and Doug also go 140; Jim takes the middle so he has access to the line, but that allows Doug to use a slip bonus to take the inside and pick up 5th position.

Marshall continues at 100 for the already paid wear. Rando goes 100 in the 80 lane for a wear and grabs Marshall's tail. Dave and Chris both go 80 in the 80s for free and end next to each other on the other side of the corner.

John goes 100 in the 80s for a wear. Mike approaches Paddock at 120 to the inside.

From Chris's email:

Gentlemen, greetings from the good ship Livin’ the Dream in a surprisingly wet San Diego!

Note that several folks encouraged me to demand dice from this group! Fabio is the only one who got the message. I expect more from such an illustrious field. After some finger trouble I believe I have the turn ready to distribute. Thanks to Kal to guide me through some Excel issues I encountered using Excel 2010, but they appear to have been cleared up when I moved up to Excel 2013 on my new MacBook.Turyko and Giovanni both head through Bridge at 140.Fabio uses 1s to successfully over brake rolling 1+5-1-5. He ends inside.Tim moves 100 ending outside of Fabio.Jim moves ahead of Doug S spending 2w and ending on the line. Doug spends 2w through the 40s.Marshall heads down the straight at 160 ending on the line.Rando plots 140 and takes a slip, ending behind Marshall.Chris L has priority plotting 160 and ending in the middle lane. Dave ends inside of Chris by virtue of going 140 and taking a slip.John W. Accelerates out of the corner at 140.Finally Mike P takes the 80s at 100 spending 1w.

Next turn due Monday 6pm PST.

Doug and Jim both plot 140 with Doug having the initiative. He takes the line for 0w. Tim takes the 140s for ow, ending behind Doug.

Marshall spends 2w going 100 on the line. Rando also spends 2w on the line.

Dave and Chris L. both plot 80 with Dave having the initiative. He spends 2w through the 40s ending inside. Chris takes the line for 1w.

Merry Christmas all!

Turyko pulls away, taking the line at 120 for 1w. Meanwhile Giovanni takes the line at 100 spending no wear.

Fabio and Tim both plot 140 and also late brake before the corner. Fabio rolls 5+1 and modifies with 1s and is OK. Tim rolls 4+2=6 with no modifier and is also OK.

Fabio has the initiative taking the line in S1 at 120 for 0w and also has the line in S2. Tim takes the line in s1 but has to settle for going outside in S2 for 1w.

Doug S. takes S1 on the line at 120 for 0w.

Jim O. also plots 120 and goes outside in S1 for 0w, but also takes a slip and ends outside of Doug.

Marshall plots 140 taking the line in Bridge.

Rando also plots 140 with 0w in Bridge and takes a slip ending outside of Marshall.

Dave plots 140 taking the line through Bridge for 0w.

John W. slows and takes the line for 0w. This forces Mike to take the corner for 2w at 100. He ends inside of John.

Next Deadline Thursday Dec 29th at 9pm PST or sooner if all plots are in.

Turn 20.

Turyko takes the line before Triangle at 140. Giovanni plots 140 and ends in the middle lane.

Fabio accelerates out of the corner at 140 while Tim maintains 120.

Doug S. takes the line in S2 at 100. Jim follows at 100, but no slip and ends behind Doug.

Marshall and Rando both plot 120, with Marshall having the initiative. He takes the line in both Esses, spending 1w in S2. Rando elects to go outside in S1 and end on the line before S2 for no wear.

Dave B. and Chris L. both take S1 on the line at 120 for 0w.

Finally someone picks up the dice! John first pushes his accel using 1s and is successful on a roll of 6+3-1=8 reaching 160. He gains the initiative over Mike. He moves on to the line before Bridge and then late brakes using another skill. He is successful with a roll of 5+1-1=5. He replots to 140 and takes the line through Bridge. Mike simply goes 140 and is forced outside in Bridge ending behind John.

I will set the next deadline for Monday January 2 or before if I have all moves.

Turn 21:

Note I corrected Michael's wear, his graphic now correctly shows 14w left.

I think the layer issues are now hopefully solved. An odd querk I have not encountered before with these great excel spreadsheets we are blessed with.

The leaders both take Triangle at 100 for 2w.

Fabio plots 140 taking the outer lane for 2w.

Tim also goes 140 ending on the line before Triangle while Doug goes 160 to end behind him.

Jim plots 140m and takes a slip to end behind Doug.

Marshall accelerates down the straight at 160.

Rando maintains 120 on the line for 1w. Dave takes the line at 100 for 0w as does Chris L..

John W. goes through S1 at 120 on the line.

Mike also plots 120 and takes a slip bringing him behind John in the outside lane.

Next Deadline is Tuesday Jan 3 at 6pm PST or before if all plots are in.

Sorry this is late. I don't know what genius decided the company's FY would follow the CY but that always makes December exciting. :upset:

Turn 22

Clearly you guys don't want to quit!

Turyko and Giovanni both head down the straight at 140.

Fabio and Tim both use the line at 100 spending 2w each. Doug S. and Jim do likewise.

Marshall plots 100 and ends in the 100s.

Rando moves at 140 ending on the line before Triangle. Chris L. ends in the middle lane moving 160.

John plots 140 and spends 2w in S2. Mike goes 100 and takes a slip through Triangle for no wear. He wanted to be on John's tail, but no cigar.

Next Deadline for Turn 23 is Tuesday Jan 3 at 9pm PST or probably sooner if all plots are in.
