Errata

In a previous issue [#3 The Truth About Foot Ball] we listed just a few of the things France has invented. We've since discovered that not all the items on that list were invented by the French. Croissants were actually invented by an Austrian, though he was living in Paris at the time. We at the Red, White & Bugle apologise for any distress caused by this small mistake.

France did however invent the process of freezing croissants, a technique perfected when a French team were the first to reach the South Pole.
