Dave gets stuffed by Giovanni in Horquilla while we have 3 wide in the back ahead of Ese del Lago.

Next Deadline: Turn 20 plots due Tuesday, July 26 at 8am EDT/Noon UTC (hard deadline).

Turn 19 Results
Chris goes 100 and takes the S1 racing line for free. Fabio goes 120 and heads into the first 120 space of S1. John goes 60 through Horquilla in the 60 lane for free. Rando goes 80 in the 60 for a wear to pull even with him. Giovanni goes 60 on the 40 for a wear; that pushes Dave, who also went 60, to the outside lane.

Turyko goes 80 on the del Lago lines for a wear, while Mike goes 100 and sheds 2 wear on the first RL and then cuts over to the 60s. Marshall goes 120 to start the racing line. Tim and Doug each go 140 and pull to the inside and outside of Marshall, respectively. Jim goes 80 through the 60s for a wear.

Thanks again for your patience, folks!

Next Deadline: Turn 21 plots due Monday, August 1 at 8am EDT/Noon UTC/5am PDT(where I'll be...). I'll be traveling so there's an outside chance this gets pushed till Monday night, but I should be able to get to this.

Turn 20 Results
Chris goes 80 through the S2 80s, while Fabio also goes 80 through the S1 80 space and the first S2 80 space, followed by the second 100 space. John and Rando go 100; John on the S1 line and Rando takes the outside into the 120 space. Giovanni goes 100 out of Horquilla and onto the S1 line.

Dave goes 60 in the Horquilla 60 space for free. Turyko goes 80 though the Horquilla 60 space for a wear. [RM Note: I neglected to deduct Turyko's 1 wear spend in Turn 19, that has also been corrected.] Mike also goes 80 but takes the RL in Horquilla for a wear.

Tim, Marshall, and Doug each go 100 and drop 2 wear in the corner; Tim in the 60s and the second RL, Marshall on the first RL and the 60s, and Doug takes the 60s throughout. Jim uses his big ACC to go 160 up onto the del Lago line.

Mike and Giovanni improve their placement as more drivers enter the Eses.

Next Deadline: Turn 22 plots due Thursday, August 4 at 8am EDT/Noon UTC (hard deadline). If I can get to it sooner I will, but I think it is unlikely.

Turn 21 Results
Chris goes 120 out of S2, while Fabio pulls even going 140. John goes 80 through the 80s of S2. Rando goes 100, finishing the 120s and then with John blocking the RL, enters the S2 in the 100 space for free. Giovanni goes 100 and finishes out the S1 line and heads through the 80 and 100 space in S2 for a wear.

Dave goes 100 on the S1 line for free. Turyko gets the jump on Mike, but with the end of the line blocked he takes the 120s for free. Mike also plots 120 and then immediately late brakes to 100 using 1s to the brakes test (mod 8) and takes the line at 100 for free.

Tim goes 80 on the Horquilla 60 for free. Marshall goes 60 on the line, while Doug goes 60 into the 60 space. Jim goes 80 through del Lago on the lines for a wear.

Cheers from smoky Carmel Valley, California...

Quiet turn with a naked acceleration roll for Marshall. My apologies on the delay, folks! I'm back home for about a week . . .

Next Deadline: Turn 23 plots due Monday, August 8 at Noon EDT/4pm UTC
(soft deadline). Hard deadline is Tuesday at the same time.

Turn 22 Results
Chris goes 120 through the 100s for a wear and ends before the 40 space. Fabio goes 100 for free in the 100s and lines up behind him. John and Giovanni charge down the straight at 140. Rando maintains at 100 through the 100 space for free.

Dave goes 80 in the 80s and ends on the racing line. Mike finishes the line at 80 and takes the 80s in S2. Turyko goes 100 through the 100s for free.

Marshall plots 120 and takes the S1 120s for free, using an acceleration test (naked 6) to get to speed. Tim goes 100 on the line for free. Doug goes 120 into the 120s. Jim takes the Horquilla 60 at speed for free.

We press on with a little action in the front as John nudges Fabio into 3rd and we have 3-wide ahead of Ovalo Chicane.

Next Deadline: Turn 24 plots due Thursday, August 11 at 8am EDT/Noon UTC (hard deadline). One of these days, I'll be able to process early again. You guys are great, it's totally on me. :) I just keep watching Jim running C2/RROC...that guy is a machine!

Turn 23 Results
Chris goes 80 through the Foro Sol 40 space for 2 wear while Fabio takes the conservative route through the 60s at 60. He may have played it too safe, though, as John's Purple Machine goes 80, leaving behind a wear in the 60 lane of the Chicane and then dropping two more in the 40 space of Foro Sol to edge inside of him. Giovanni goes 100 in the 100s for free. He may have a corner between him and the leaders, but his wear total matches the combined total of all of them.

Rando goes 100 down the straight and heads into the Chicane in the 80s for a wear. Dave and Mike follow at 120, and Mike uses a slip to pull even with Dave ahead of the corner. Turyko roars out of S2 at 160 to make it 3-wide.

Tim "Wear King" Baker finishes the S1 Line at 80 and takes the S2 80s for free. Marshall continues at 120 but with Tim in the 80s, he has to take the 100s instead of the line for a wear. Doug goes 100 and faces a similar issue, opting for the 100 space. Jim takes S2 for free at 120 through the 120s.

I'm not gonna catch Chris or John or Fabio or Giovanni.

Mike and Turyko are highly probable to pass me. :( I might be able to hold off Dave B, not a slam dunk by any means.

I hope to be able to hold off Marshall, Tim, Doug & Jim but none of those outcomes is assured, either. Gulp!

So, I'm predicting myself for an 8th place finish. Sigh.

A few changes in position as we continue on. Apologies on the delay...first of several. I'm going to be traveling on vacation the next couple weeks, so I will process turns as soon as I'm able.

Next Deadline: Turn 25 plots due Tuesday, August 16 at 8pm EDT/Midnight UTC (Weds). Soft deadlines until I return. Thanks for your patience!

Turn 24 Results

Chris finishes out the corner for free at 120. Fabio gets the initiative at 100 and he takes the outside lane for a wear, while John follows him at 80 for free. Giovanni conserves his wear at 60 through the Foro Sol 60s. That makes life difficult for Rando, who continued at 100 for the already-paid wear. He intended to go through the 60s for 2 wear, but instead needs to tap the brakes for a wear and then dives into the 40 for 2 more.

Mike and Turyko each go 100 through the 100s, Mike opting to finish outside and Turyko inside. Dave goes 60 but with no room to use the 60 space he burns off the extra speed in the 80s and ends inside.

Tim and Marshall head down the straight at 140 and 120, respectively. Doug finishes S2 at 100 while Jim clears the S2 line at 100 in a turn.

As a winner of nothing at the WBC, that's great news!

I really enjoyed meeting you, John. You made a great week an even better one. Hope to see you next year.

I am back in the saddle again, many thanks for your patience!

Chris starts off the final lap with Fabio and John a few spaces behind, but Giovanni lurks in Peraltada with a massive 10 wear to spend in Lap 3. Speaking of massive wear spending, Mike peels off 4 wear between Foro Sol and Peraltada.

Oh, and Jim makes a move too, sneaking ahead of Doug and into 11th place.

Next Deadline: Turn 26 plots due Tuesday at Noon EDT/4pm UTC (soft deadline). Hard deadline is Wednesday at the same time. Given that we're now significantly behind, I'll try to keep things moving on my end as quickly as possible.

Turn 25 Results

Chris, Fabio, and John all go 160 this turn. Chris starts the third lap while John clings to Fabio's tail as they come out of Peraltada. Giovanni goes 100 into the outside lane of Peraltada for a wear. Rando follows at 80 for free.

Turyko goes 80 through the Foro Sol 40 for 2 wear and then runs up behind Rando for free in Peraltada. Mike goes 100 through the Foro Sol 60s for 2 wear, then drops 2 more in the center lane in Peraltada.

Dave goes 60 for free in the Foro Sol 60s. Tim goes 100 and peels off 1 wear in the 80s in the Chicane, then follows Dave into the Foro Sol 60 space for 2 wear. Marshall follows Tim at 80 for free.

Doug goes 80 in the lead up to Ovalo, ending in the middle for options, while Jim uses the opportunity slide ahead of him to the inside at 120.

A quick turnaround for plots, and I could even pull off the adjudication early!

Next Deadline: Turn 27 plots due Wednesday at Noon EDT/4pm UTC
(soft deadline). Hard deadline is Thursday at the same time.

Turn 26 Results
Chris, Fabio, and John all continue at 160 while John gets a slip from Fabio to pull up beside him. Giovanni goes 140 out of Peraltada to the inside while Rando tests acceleration (naked 2) to go 160 and line up next to him. Mike accelerates to 140 in the corner for the already-paid wear and grab's Giovanni's spoiler. Turyko accelerates within the speed limits to 120 and clears the corner to the outside.

Dave and Tim each go 100 and run up the outside of Peraltada for a wear a piece. Marshall goes 60 through the Foro Sol 40 for a wear. Jim and Doug go 100, Jim dropping a total of 4 wear between the Chicane and Foro Sol. Doug goes through the 100s for free and ends just before the 40 space for Foro Sol.

Another quick turnaround - almost caught up with C3.

Next Deadline: Turn 28 plots due Thursday, September 1 at Noon EDT/4pm UTC (soft deadline). Hard deadline is Friday at the same time. Let's keep rolling!

Turn 27 Results
Chris plots 120 and late brakes before the corner using the dice (naked 5) to take the 60s at 100 for two wear. Fabio and John each go 140 and line up ahead of the corner. Giovanni goes 160, while Rando goes 140, lining up behind him. Mike goes 140 and gets a slip to pull up next to Rando.

Turyko goes 180 using a top speed test with 1 skill (mod 1), and lines up inside. [RM note: innermost was specified, so no slip opportunity next turn.] Dave and Tim each accelerate within the speed limits to exit Peraltada at 160.

Marshall goes 80 into the middle lane of Peraltada for a wear. Jim also goes 80 but takes the outside lane for free. Doug goes 60 through the Foro Sol 40 space for a wear. [RM note: like Rando last lap, the placement here was unexpected - I'm putting Doug in the inside lane but will allow him to opt for the outside instead if he chooses so he will have access to the outer lane for Peraltada.]

Power Outage for a bit on the track. Lights are on now and the Green Flag is back out.

Next Deadline: Turn 29 due Monday, September 12 at Noon EDT/4pm UTC.

Turn 28 Results
Chris pulls out of Solana at 140. Fabio drops 2 wear in the 60s to go 100. John overbrakes to 60 using a brakes test with his last skill (mod 2) and takes the shortest route for free.

Giovanni goes 160 and starts the Solana racing line. Mike goes 140 and finishes inside. Rando goes 120 with a slip on Giovanni and lines up outside of Mike. Turyko goes 160 down the straight and makes it 3 wide to the outside.

Dave and Tim fly down the straight at 160 and Tim takes a slip to pull even.

Marshall goes 120 to finish Peraltada and ends inside. Jim uses his big acceleration to go 160 and pull even with him. Doug drops 2 wear on the inside lane at 80.
