Heresay! I swear that wasn't me. I'm not above threatening the field, though. I've sent one to the RM for distribution the first time someone ^&*%'s with me.

Fabio takes the lead in dramatic fashion while we have 3-wide before the Ovalo Chicane, with 2 just inside!

Next Deadline: Turn 11 plots due Friday, July 1 at Noon EDT/4pm UTC.

Turn 11 Results
Fabio gets the initiative on Chris by plotting 100. He takes the 60s for 2 wear through Ovalo Chicane, late brakes to 80 using 1s (mod 5) and then spends 2 wear in the 40 in Foro Sol. Chris goes 80 in the Ovalo 60 for a wear and then the Foro Sol 60 for another wear. John and Giovanni both go 80 into Ovalo, John to the 60 for a wear and Giovanni into the 80s for free.

Dave and Mike each go 80 down the straight and switch places ahead of the Chicane. That leaves a spot for Rando to go 140 and grab the open space before Ovalo.

Doug goes 80 through the 80s in S2 for free and ends on the line past the corner. Turyko goes 80 on the 80s for a wear and ends outside of Doug. Tim plots 100 and goes through a long list of preferred routes and finally finding an open one - he takes the first 100 space and then the 80 space for a wear to make it through S2.

Jim goes 100 through the other S1 120 space and with no room on the line, takes the 100 space in S2 for free. Marshall plays catch-up by plotting 100 and using the S1 80s for a wear, followed by the line for free.

Nothing too serious this turn - we wind our way through the slow corners. Jim continues to conserve his car and now finds himself in the back of the pack.

Next Deadline: Turn 12 plots due Tuesday, July 5 at Noon EDT/4pm UTC (hard deadline). I'll of course process early if the plots are in and I have the chance. Have a great weekend!

Turn 12 Results
Fabio goes 100 into the outside lane in Peraltada for a wear. Chris continues at 80 for the already-paid wear, and then enters Peraltada in the middle lane for a wear. John goes 60 and takes the 40 space in Foro Sol for a wear, while Giovanni continues at 80 into the Foro Sol 60s for a wear.

Dave and Rando get the initiative on Mike and run the 100s at 100 for free, taking up the spaces right before Foro Sol. Mike goes 60, and has to head through the 80s to avoid a mixup with Dave's bumper.

Doug, Turyko, and Tim charge down the straight at 120, and Tim gets a slip to catch up and make it 3 wide again before the Chicane. Jim continues at 100 through the 100s, while Marshall goes 100 in the 80s for the already-paid wear and passes him.

Well this was a messy one. Everyone gets bunched up at the start of Peraltada and Foro Solo - consider what happened to Dave a good cause to fill out the C1 Defaults Survey.

Next Deadline: Turn 13 plots due Thursday, July 7 at Noon EDT/4pm UTC (hard deadline).

Turn 12 Results
Fabio puts the pedal to the metal going 160 out of Peraltada. Chris increases to 120 for the already-paid 1 wear. John and Giovanni each go 80 and head into the outside lane for free.

Rando gets the jump on Dave by going 100 through the 60s for 2 wear, and with the outside lane blocked he sheds 2 more wear in the Peraltada 60 space. Dave plots 80 through the 40 space in Foro Sol for 2 wear and looks to enter Peraltada in either the 80 space or 60 space. He late brakes to 60 using a wear and finishes with access to both options in Turn 13. [RM note: Dave gave two options here but both were blocked. He could enter the 40 space for 2 more wear, but his plot indicated at most a 3-wear spend and with no default survey response it's left to the RM (who will minimize wear spend unless the defaults say otherwise).]

Mike eases through Foro Sol at 60 through the 60s but that sends those behind him looking for alternate options. Doug plots 100 and heads through the Chicane in the 80s for a wear, and then late brakes to 80 using a brakes test, but rolls an 11! He pays a 1 wear penalty and damages his brakes, finishing inside before Foro Sol. Turyko also goes 100, with Doug blocking his preferred option, he heads through the 100s for free and lines up before the Foro Sol 60s. Tim follows Turyko through the 100s at 100 and then late brakes to 80 for a wear, and finishes behind Doug.

Marshall and Jim each go 80, with Marshall dropping a wear on the Chicane 60 space.

Fabio kicks off his second lap and builds a considerable lead over most of the field in the process. Rando grabs his dice and 3-skill chip and heads into the inside lane of Peraltada.

Next Deadline: Turn 14 plots due Monday at 6am EDT/10am UTC (hard deadline). Note the strange deadline - I'll be traveling for work next week so the deadlines will be a bit different. Thanks for your flexibility! If I can process the turns early, I'll do it.

Turn 13 Results
Fabio, Chris, and John all go 160, John using his massive acceleration to get to speed within Peraltada.

Dave and Giovanni each go 120 to complete Peraltada, able to accelerate based on the changing-radius corner in their respective lanes. Rando plots 100 through the 40 for 2 wear and chance using his big 3s chip (mod 2). [RM note: As I mentioned in the correction - I allowed Rando to start from the Inside lane should he choose.] He takes Peraltada in a single turn and lines up behind Dave.

Mike goes 80 and takes the outside lane in Peraltada for free. Doug goes 40 through the Foro Sol 40 while Turyko goes 100 in the 60s for 2 wear, blowing past him and into Peraltada behind Mike for another wear. Tim goes 60 through the 60s for free.

Marshall takes the Foro Sol 40 at 80 for 2 wear and skips ahead of Tim. Jim takes the 60s through the Chicane at speed and ends outside.

The chase pack starts their second lap while Marshall continues his march forward in the order, sliding past Doug in Peraltada. Thanks for the quick turnaround!

Next Deadline: Turn 15 plots due Tuesday, July 12 at 6am EDT/10am UTC (soft deadline). Get the plots in, I'll process when I can but won't NPR anyone - don't really expect to need to.

Turn 14 Results
Fabio slows to 140 and runs right up to the corner. Chris goes 160 and starts the racing line. John, Dave, Rando, and Giovanni all go 160 down the straight, with Rando getting a slip off of Dave to pull even with him.

Mike finishes Peraltada at 140 through the outside. Turyko follows him at 140 for the already-paid wear, but can't quite make it all the way inside to be slip-eligible. Marshall goes 100 and takes the middle lane for 2 wear, while Doug goes 80 on the inside for 2 wear. Tim goes 80 into the middle lane for a wear, while Jim eases through Foro Sol at 60.

Thanks for your patience, Drivers! The dice come out en force today.

Next Deadline: Turn 16 plots due Friday, July 15 at Noon EDT/4pm UTC (hard deadline).

Turn 15 Results
Fabio takes the inside lane at 100 for 2 wear. Chris goes 120 on the racing line, also shedding 2 wear. John, Dave, Rando, and Giovanni all go 160; John pulls up right before the corner and Giovanni picks up a slip heading down the straight to pull even with Dave and Rando and grab the racing line.

Mike goes 160 using 1 skill on a top speed test (mod 5). Turyko also tests top using 2s (mod 6) to go 180 and pull even with Mike. Marshall plots 160 using an acceleration test with 2 skill (mod 4) in the 140s for the already-paid wear. Doug goes 160 in the 120s for the already-paid wear and pulls up next to Marshall. Jim goes 80 into the outside lane.

Fabio and Chris maintain their huge lead while Rando makes a move and pays dearly for it. Sorry for the delay, guys! Last few days were nuts.

Next Deadline: Turn 17 plots due Monday, July 18 at 4pm EDT/8pm UTC (soft deadline). Hard deadline will be Tuesday at Noon EDT.

Turn 16 Results
Fabio goes 120 and grabs the del Lago racing line. Chris goes 140 and heads inside. John goes 100 through the 60s for 2 wear.

Rando decides to go for the initiative. He plots 140 and then immediately late brakes to 100 using 1w and a brakes test with his last skill point, but rolls a modified 10! He has to pay an additional 1 wear penalty and damages his brakes. He then hits the 60s for 2 more wear. Giovanni goes next, he plots 120 on the racing line for 2 wear. Dave goes 100 for 2 wear in the 60s and has to head to the middle lane with Rando blocking the inside.

Turyko gets the jump on Mike and goes 160 down the inside. Mike goes 140 and grabs the racing line. Marshall goes 160, Doug goes 140 and slides in behind him. Tim goes 160 down the straight while Jim uses the increasing speed limit to hit 160 coming out of Peraltada.

A reasonably quiet turn as we finally get everyone onto the second lap.

Next Deadline: Turn 18 plots due Thursday, July 21 at 8am EDT/Noon UTC (hard deadline). I'll process early if I have all plots and the time in which to make it happen. :)

Turn 17 Results
Fabio and Chris both cruise through Ese del Lago on the racing lines; Fabio at 80 for a wear and Chris at 100 for 2 wear.

John goes 140 and pulls right up to the corner on the RL. Rando also goes 140 but ends inside just before the RL begins. Dave goes 160 and lines up next to Rando while Giovanni goes 140 and finishes behind them.

Turyko and Mike go 100 through the Solana 60s for 2 wear each. Marshall goes 120 on the racing line for 2 wear. Doug also goes 120 and moves to the inside before the corner. Tim closes the gap at 160 and grabs the racing line. Jim brings up the rear at 180 and starts his second lap.

We've got a new leader as Chris slides through Horquilla and ahead of Fabio. Thanks for the quick turnaround on your plots!

Next Deadline: Turn 19 plots due Friday, July 22 at Noon EDT/4pm UTC (soft deadline). Hard deadline is Saturday, July 23 at 8am EDT/Noon UTC.

Turn 18 Results
Fabio goes 60 in the 60 space of Horquilla for free. Chris goes 80, aiming for the 60 but with Fabio in the way he takes the 40 space for 2 wear and sticks to the inside and takes the lead from Fabio. John goes 80 through the del Lago racing lines.

Rando plots 120 and then immediately late brakes to 100 with a brakes test (naked 7) and takes the racing lines for 2 wear. [RM Note: Rando wanted to use 1 skill but he is all out, something I realized after I rolled, so the roll email says mod 6.] Dave plots 100 on the first RL and with Rando blocking after the corner he switches to the 60s mid-corner. Giovanni plots 100 on the racing lines for 2 wear to squeeze inside of Dave, but has to forfeit the slip opportunity because he runs out of room.

Turyko goes 140 and starts the racing line. The Commish keeps pace with him and grabs his spoiler down the straight.

Marshall continues at 120 for the already-paid wear on the line. Tim sheds 2 wear on the line at 120 as well, while Doug, speeds through the 60s at 80 for a wear and ends on the outside. Jim goes 120 and ends inside before Solana.
