Another quiet turn, mostly, with Joe flexing his wear muscles in Sheares Corner. Simone remains the only one with bare tires - but several others are very close. Everyone is now on the final lap.

Next Deadline: Turn 37 plots due Wednesday, April 20 at Noon EDT/4pm UTC (hard deadline). I'll try to get to an earlier processing time if everyone gets plots in early.

Turn 36 Results
Giovanni goes 80 on the Memorial Corner racing line and then sheds a wear on the Stamford 60s. Turyko goes 120 and pulls up on the line ahead of Memorial. Dave goes 140 out of Boulevard on the straight. William spends a wear to go 120 on the Boulevard line but can't quite keep up with Dave. Simone and Jim take Boulevard in turn at 100 on the racing line.

Doug goes 120 out of Sheares and starts the Boulevard line. Marshall plots 100 and grabs his spoiler to the outside. Chris goes 80 through Sheares for a wear on the 80-100-60s route. Ken also goes 80 and takes the 80-100 route. Joe goes 140 into the 100s for 2 wear. Grant follows up at 120 on the inside.

The numbers for lap 2 including the composite 24 car field as they would have crossed the s/f line.

Thanks Jim!

Great job turning everything around. I think I would have had all plots last night already if not for an email quirk.

Next Deadline: Turn 38 plots due Thursday, April 21 at Noon EDT/4pm UTC (hard deadline).

Turn 37 Results
Giovanni takes Rec Club on the line at 80. Turyko overbrakes to 60 using a brakes test (naked 8) and uses the Memorial 60 space and the Stamford line to keep pace. Dave goes 120 onto the Memorial line and William catches his tail, also starting the line.

Simone, Jim, and Doug all go 140 with Doug dropping 2 wear on the Boulevard line, and they all finish inside on their respective sections of the straight. Marshall goes 100 for free on the racing line and grabs the slip from Doug.

Chris goes 120 and grabs the Boulevard line. Ken goes 60 through the Sheares 40 for a wear. Joe goes 100 through the 60s for the already-paid 2 wear and lines up behind Ken. Grant goes 100 on the 80-100-60-60 route for 2 wear.

Drivers - 3-wide before Memorial Corner!! The dice continue to smile on Simone's overworked brakes. Apologies on the delay, I was done about 8:30 this morning but was waiting on a couple of clarifications until the deadline and then got totally pulled into actual work. :)

Next deadline: Turn 39 Plots due Monday, April 25 at Noon EDT/4pm UTC.

Turn 38 Results
Giovanni goes 120 and starts the Sling line. Turyko sheds a wear in the Rec Club 60 at 80. Dave and William each go 60 in Memorial Corner's 60 space and take the Stamford line. William exceeded his deceleration from 140 so he spent his last wear.

Simone plots 100 and has to hit the brakes table (naked 7). Jim and Doug each go 120 and Doug grabs the slip to finish 3-wide with Simone ahead of Memorial Corner. Marshall goes 140 to keep pace with Doug.

Chris and Ken go 100 on the Boulevard line for free. Joe goes 120 and starts the line, but with Ken in the 80 space he must re-route to the 120s for a wear. Grant goes 120 out of Sheares and starts the line behind Ken and Joe.

The dice continue to be friendly this turn, with both Giovanni and Simone reaching for the brakes test table. Doug continues his forward march while Marshall squeezes by Simone.

Next Deadline: Turn 40 plots due Tuesday, April 26 at 4pm EDT/8pm UTC (hard deadline). I'll process sooner if all plots are in.

Turn 39 Results
Giovanni overbrakes using a brakes test (naked 6), takes the Singapore Sling line at 60 for free, and starts the Fullerton line. Turyko goes 120 and starts the Sling line. Dave and William each go 60 and each finish the Stamford line and the 60 space in Rec Club.

Doug gets the initiative on Jim and Simone by going 100. He takes the Memorial 80s for a wear and then the Stamford line for 2 more wear. Jim goes 80 and takes the 60 space in Memorial for a wear and then the Stamford 60s for another wear. With wear exhausted and few options, Simone slows to 80 through the Memorial 80s and late brakes (naked 2) to 60 to end on the Stamford line. Marshall plots 100 and uses the Memorial 80s for a wear and ends inside of Simone before Stamford.

Chris goes 120 down the straight. Ken goes 140. Joe finishes the Boulevard 120s at 120. Grant takes the Boulevard line at 100 for free and pulls up behind Joe.

Turyko spends 2/3 of his remaining wear on what looks to be a credible threat to Giovanni's for first. They have identical cars and the same wear as they head for the back half of the track.

Grand Prix points update: I added a points tracker to the boxes early in this race that automatically updates as the race dynamics change, but it does not account for tiebreakers. Right now, Marshall and Chris are listed as tied for 6th place (and the last remaining position to advance to C1 next season). The tiebreaker is highest finish, which goes to Chris with a 4th place finish in Suzuka. Marshall's highest finish is 5th, at Istanbul Park. Simone is the only one within a reasonable striking position, but he

Next Deadline: Turn 41 plots due Wednesday, April 27 at Noon EDT/4pm UTC (soft deadline). Hard deadline is Thursday at the same time.

Turn 40 Results
Giovanni goes 60 on the Fullerton racing line. Turyko plots 80 and drops one wear each on the Singapore Sling and Fullerton lines to make up some ground on Giovanni. Dave and William each go 120 down the straight towards the Singapore Sling. William tests acceleration (naked 6) to make 120.

Dave goes 80 through the Rec Club 80s for free, ending inside. Jim and Marshall also go 80; Jim on the Rec Club line to pull even with Doug, and Marshall in the Stamford 60s for a wear and the Rec Club line for free. Simone goes 60 on the Stamford line for free, and then takes the Rec Club 80s.

Chris goes 80 and takes the Memorial Corner RL for free. Ken goes 120 and Joe goes 140 to start the line behind him. Grant goes 140 with a slip to edge inside of Joe.

Excitement in the back as Ken executes a forced pass on Chris in Stamford! Giovanni and Turyko widen an already huge lead over 3rd and 4th place.

Next Deadline: Turn 42 plots are due Tomorrow at 4pm EDT/8pm UTC (soft deadline). Hard deadline is Monday at Noon EDT/4pm UTC, or if they're all in over the weekend I'll process when I can.

Turn 41 Results

Giovanni and Turyko each plot 120 down the straight. Giovanni has to roll on the acceleration table (naked 9) and he starts the Esplanade racing line. Dave and William each take the Singapore Sling at 60.

Doug goes 120 and starts the Sling line. Jim follows at 100 and stays inside. Marshall goes 120 and tucks in behind him, while Simone continues at 80 through Rec Club, finishing inside.

Chris goes 40 into the Stamford 40 space. Ken plots 80 on the Memorial line for free and then heads for the Stamford 40 space fpr 2 wear. With Chris in the way, Ken drops a 3-skill chip on an unblocked passing attempt (mod 5) and he leaves Chris behind to grab the Rec Club line. Grant goes 80 through the Memorial 80s for free and starts the Stamford line. Joe goes 80 on the Memorial line for free and with Chris in the 40 space in Stamford, he heads to the 60s for a wear.

Giovanni and Turyko each go 80 and drop their last wear on the Esplanade racing line. Dave and William go 60 on the Fullerton line for free.

Doug, Jim, and Marshall all go 60 on the Singapore Sling line. Doug starts the Fullerton line and Marshall opts to test brakes with 2s to slow down (mod 4). Simone goes 80 and stays to the inside.

Ken and Chris go 80 on the Rec Club line for free. Joe continues at 80 for the already-paid wear in Stamford and then the Rec Club line for free. Grant goes 60 on the Stamford line and Rec Club 60 space.

More action in the back as Joe gets the jump on Ken and Chris and takes the entire length of the straight between Rec Club and Singapore Sling. Thanks again for the quick turnaround, guys. We are now just 2 turns behind C1.

Next Deadline: Turn 44 plots due Wednesday, May 4 at Noon EDT/4pm UTC (hard deadline). I will of course process sooner if all plots are in and I have the chance to do so.

Turn 43 Results
Giovanni and Turyko both go 60 and take/start the Raffles racing line. Dave and William go 120 down the straight out of Fullerton, William with the help of an Acceleration test (naked 7).

Doug and Jim go 60 and take the Fullerton line for free. Marshall follows at 80 for a wear through the 60s for a wear. Simone takes the Singapore Sling line at 60 for free.

Ken and Chris go 100, with Ken grabbing the Sling racing line. Joe jams the gas and heads 140 down the straight to edge inside of Ken before Sling. Grant goes 120 and lines up behind Chris.

Simone's dice continue to stay hot, Doug's do too as he tests acceleration and moves into 4th.

Next Deadline: Turn 45 plots due Friday at Noon EDT/4pm UTC (hard deadline).

Turn 44 Results
Giovanni and Turyko each go 60; Giovanni into the Gallery 60s and Turyko on the Raffles line.

Dave goes 60 on the Esplanade line with William following closely at 60 as well. Doug plots 140 and uses an acceleration test with a skill point (mod 2) to get him there. He pulls up inside of William before Esplanade. Jim goes 100 with a slip and stays inside. Marshall goes 120 and orders a slip but Jim's going to slow, he opts to finish outside, probably not expecting Jim to have gone that slow.

Simone plots 80 on the Fullerton line for chance with his last skill point (mod 4). Joe goes 80 and sheds 2 wear on the Singapore Sling 40, and another 1 wear on the Fullerton line. Ken also goes 80, but takes the Sling line for a wear and then the Fullerton 60 space for a wear. Chris and Grant each go 60 on the Sling line for free.

Relatively quiet turn as we have our first NPR in more than 20 turns and the second of the whole race. Worth noting: Giovanni is now 2 full turns ahead of first place in C1, and Turyko is 1 turn ahead. Some serious driving taking place here in Singapore.

Next Deadline: Turn 46 plots due Monday, May 9 at 4pm EDT/8pm UTC (hard deadline).

Turn 45 Results
Giovanni and Turyko each go 60 on the Gallery 60s for free.

Dave pulls out of Esplanade at 60 and starts the Raffles line. Doug goes 80 and drops a wear on the Esplanade 60s before pulling to the inside. William goes 60 on the line and pulls up next to Doug. Jim goes 60 on the RL for free. Marshall goes 80 and wants the line, but with Jim on the 40 space he's rerouted to the 60s for a wear.

NPR from Simone. The RM plot takes him down the outside of the straight at 80. Joe comes out of the corner at 80 as well, heading inside. Ken continues at 80 for the already-paid wear and lines up behind him. Chris goes 60 on the Fullerton line for free. Grant goes 80 and wants to take the Fullerton line, but with Chris in the way heads to the 60s instead. He uses 1s on a chance roll (mod 4) instead of his final wear.

Doug's forward march meets a minor setback as William gets a good chance roll to pull inside of him. Another NPR from Simone - are you still with us? If I don't receive a plot next turn we'll pull the purple car into the garage for the remainder of the race.

Next Deadline: Turn 47 plots due Wednesday, May 11 at 4pm EDT/8pm UTC (hard deadline).

Turn 46 Results
Giovanni goes 100 and takes the 100 space in Promenade for free. Turyko continues at 60 to finish out Gallery.

Dave goes 60 on the Raffles line for free and finishes inside ahead of Gallery. Doug goes 80 and then immediately hits the brakes with 2 skill applied to the roll (mod 1) to take the Raffles line for free. William goes 60 and takes the Raffles 40 for Chance (naked 4) to pull inside of Doug. Jim goes 80 and takes the Raffles line for a wear. Marshall continues at 80 for the already-paid wear and starts the Raffles line.

NPR from Simone. The RM plot continues him on the outside lane at 60 before Esplanade. Note: per the default rules, he is not able to use the line next turn.

Joe goes 100 and pulls inside of Simone. Ken also goes 100 and lines up on the racing line for Esplanade. Chris and Grant each go 120, and Grant gets a slip to pull even with Chris.

Giovanni takes the Checkered Flag! Simone returns but his dice luck turns sour and Ken goes for another forced pass.

ACTION REQUIRED:
Please confirm your intent to continue in Season 3 of the Redscape Grand Prix by replying to me ASAP. We will be taking a tour of North America as we race at Mexico City, Circuit of the Americas, and Watkins Glen.

As a reminder, for this season, the top 6 advance to C1 and the bottom 6 from C1 (including your now humbled RM) will be moving here to C2. Next Season we are adding C3 -- subsequent seasons it will be 4 up/4 down instead of 6/6).

Next Deadline: Turn 48 plots due Friday, May 13 at Noon EDT/4pm UTC (hard deadline).

Turn 47 Results
Giovanni goes 140 across the finish line to take first! Turyko takes the 100 space at 100 through Promenade and stays inside.

Dave goes 80 through the Gallery 60s for his last wear. Doug goes 100 into the Gallery 60s for 2 wear but has to pop out into the 80s with Dave in the way. William moves 40 into the Gallery 40 space. Jim goes 80 into the Gallery 60s for a wear. Marshall takes the Raffles line at 60 for free.

Joe goes 60 through the 40 in Esplanade for his last wear. Simone, unable to use the line, does the same for chance but rolls a naked 9 and SPINS! Ken, sensing there might be trouble, plots 60 through the 40 but with a pass attempt on Simone using 2 skill (mod 1), and then 1 wear for the taking the 40 at +20. [RM Note: Ken originally plotted on the line but you cannot execute a forced pass on the racing line. This was his alternate route.]

Chris plots 80 and has to take the 60s for a wear (no force pass attempt was indicated). Grant also plots 80, but has nowhere to go. He brakes to 60 using a brakes test with 1 skill point (mod 7) and enters the 60s behind Chris. (Again, no forced pass was ordered.)
