The Hairpin eats up some tires and spits one car back out. Lesson learned this turn: Keep Cody behind you... he is unpredictable :uhoh:

Turn 21 Summary
Tim B. is looking unstoppable, hitting 140 around 200R. Tim C. gets the initiative and takes the Hairpin line for a wear at 80. Brad sheds a wear in the Hairpin 40's at 60 and grabs the bumper on the #5.. Mike grabs the initiative at 100, drops 2 wear on the Hairpin line, and pulls up next to the Kellogg's car. Rando sheds 2 wear in the Hairpin 40's at 80 and tucks in behind the #25. John hits the Hairpin at 100, burns 2 wear in the 60's, and grabs the tail on the #18 car. Cody knows no fear and jumps on the Hairpin line at 120 for 2 wear and a roll on the chance table (naked 7). He spins out, potentially causing a headache for those behind given his 40 mph limit in turn 22. At 140, Kal uses the slow lane in T10 to pull up to the Hairpin on the line. Chris also burns off speed in T10 at 120 to grab the line behind the #3. Fabio moves up a spot at 140, pulling to the inside of the #20. Todd finishes Denger on the line at 100 with no further wear usage. Will drops speed to 120, conserving wear, and sits on the side panel of the #84.

Some shuffling in the first chase pack while Cody creates traffic problems in the rear.

Turn 22 Results
Tim B. sheds a wear in the Spoon at 100 on the inside. Mike gets the initiative at 160 and enters the Spoon 120's for 2 wear. Tim C. pulls up to the Spoon at 140. Rando grabs the initiative at 140, pulling alongside the #5 with the bonus. Brad falls behind at 100, even with the slip. John races out of the Hairpin at 140 and with the slip passes the #50 and slides in behind the Kellogg's car.

Cody comes out of his spin at 40 and opts to tie up traffic on the line. Kal takes the Hairpin 60's at 80 for a wear, ending to the inside of the #38. Fabio gets the initiative at 100, takes the Hairpin 60's for 2 wear, and has to hit the brakes. He passes his roll with 1sp (modified 8) and sits on the bumper of the M&M's car. Chris plots 80 then taps the brakes prior to the Hairpin. He also passes his roll with 1sp (modified 6) then uses the line for free.

Will gains the initiative at 120, burns off some speed in T10, and grabs the line in front of the Hairpin. Todd rolls to the inside of the #6 at 100.

Folks, the current rule is to brake at the point of necessity (unless otherwise specified in your plot), thus corner wear is paid prior to braking. Both Fabio last turn and Brad this turn paid the price... be prepared for all eventualities. This default is being looked at by Kal & I and it may change for race 3 but, for know, the rule above is what we race under.

Turn 23 Summary
Tim B. takes off out of the Spoon at 140. Mike drops speed to 140 to finish the slowdown in the Spoon. Rando gets the initiative at 120, takes the 100/80's for 2 wear in the Spoon, and tucks in behind the #25 car. Tim C. drops speed to 80 and takes the Spoon 100/80's for free. At 100, John uses the Spoon 120/100's for free. Brad plots 120 and enters the Spoon 100/80's for 2 wear. He then hits the brakes to avoid a collision with the #5 for another wear.

Kal tests his engine with 2sp to accelerate to 160 (modified 2). Cody also hits the Acc table (naked 6) at 100 and ties up the inside of 200R. Fabio gains the initiative at 140 and pulls alongside the #38 in 200R. At 120, Chris grabs the bumper of the #17 car. Will sheds 2 wear in the Hairpin on the line. Todd drops speed to 60, burning 1 wear in the Hairpin 40's.

I can always count on Cody to get the dice roller in action!

Turn 24 Summary
Tim B. takes 130R at 140 for free in the 140's. Mike hits the straight at 160. Rando pulls up next to the #25 at 160 plus the bonus. Tim C. exits the Spoon at 140. John must maintain speed at 100 to finish the Spoon. Brad must do the same (100 mph) and stays on the side panel of the #28. Kal takes the Spoon 120/100's for free at 100. Cody hits the Spoon 100/80's at 140 for 2 wear and another roll on the chance table (naked 3). Fabio enters the Spoon at 120 on the outside and pays a wear when he hits the 100's. Chris drops a wear at 120 in the Spoon 100's. Will burns a wear in the Spoon 120's at 140. Todd has maxed his acceleration at 120.

Those cars are really strung out on the track. With just over a lap to go, Tim B. looks like he's got this one in the bag. There are some intense position battles going on for points in this 2nd of 3 races in the Grand Prix.

Turn 25 Summary
Tim B. grabs the Casio line at 140. Mike burns a wear in the 130R at 160. Rando stays on the side panel of the #25 at 160 and a wear. Tim C. takes the 130R for free at 140. John hits the straight at 160. At 140, Brad tucks in behind the #28.

Both Kal & Cody exit the Spoon at 160 to continue racing side-by-side. Fabio must maintain 120 as he exits the Spoon. Chris drops to 100 as the corner speed comes down to 80 then grabs the bumper on the #17 car. Will drops to 120 in the Spoon 100's and pulls alongside the #20. Todd takes the Spoon 120/100's for a wear.

Now that C2 has completed lap 1 we can see the composite field as we finished the first lap. Interesting 3-way dead heat for 11th.

Tim C. pulls up to the Triangle on the line at 140. John takes the 130R 140's for free at 140. Brad follows at 140 and, with the slip, comes up on the side panel of the #28.

Cody plots 160 then brakes down to 140 (naked 8), taking the 140's for free. Kal stays with the #38, also taking the 130R at 140. Fabio hits the straight at 160. Mike, just one little thing -- "you've gotta ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?""

BTW, I plotted 160.

1. Will you ever figure out how to use the quote function (I corrected your post)?

2. Yes, I know you plotted 160 as I have your plot. You'll just have to wait to see if I felt lucky when I locked mine in.
