I've been "in contact" (directly or diagonally adjacent) with this guy since Turn 18. Jeesh! He's like a freakin' limpet mine! Despite my superior driving I can't seem to shake him. Grrrr...

He naked braked last move. He will probably should not naked accel this move. Instead he should allow me to temporarily get ahead -- then promptly slip me to stay even. He needs his 60 accel at least 4 more times this track, braking it relegates him to third. But -- perhaps he plotted a naked accel roll. We will know in about 18 hours.

I can't find a turtle graphic on this website. :/

Three cars have started on the third and final lap.

Yes, Rando, I DID feel lucky! By the way, this dice roll and the previous were also sent to Kal - he can verify if requested.

Turn 27 Summary
Tim B. runs his car up to 140 on the straight. Mike test his engine on the acceleration table (naked 8) to hit 160 as he exits Casio. Rando comes out of the Triangle at 160 to stay on the numbers of the #25. Tim C. burns 2 wear on the line in Casio at 100. Brad grabs the initiative at 100 and sheds 2 wear on the line in the Triangle. John gets through the Casio Triangle at 80 on the line for a wear.

Cody plots 140 followed by some braking (naked 6) to grab the line in front of Casio. Kal plays it safe at 100. Fabio uses the 130R 140's for free at 140. Chris does the same as he keeps the pressure on the #17. At 160, Will takes the outer lane in 130R for free and ends up back on the bumper of the DeWalt car. Todd shows off his impressive engine at 180, dropping 2 wear in the 130R 140's.

Did Rando break the 1 lap record? Did Tom Brady know the balls were underinflated? Did O.J. do it? I can only answer one of those questions with certainty. And I will do so.... when the last car crosses the start/finish line.

Hey be nice to my car! Just because I don't know how to drive it, doesn't mean that it is jalopy!

Cody just demolished the dreams and hopes of half the field.

Two cars make contact with Tim B. but that is certain to be short-lived.

Edit: I thought passes could only occur from spaces directly behind the passed car. You can actually pass from any space that allows you to legally move through the passed space. Note that Chris is NOT on the line.

Turn 28 Summary
Tim B. pulls into First Curve at 140 on the outside for free. Mike and Rando enter First Curve on the 160's for free at 160. Tim C. lollygags past the grandstand at 140. Brad hits the straight at 140. John tests his engine at 160 on the Acc chart with 1sp (modified 6), pulling even with the #50.

Cody runs the Casio line at 120, dropping 2 wear and a roll on the chance table (naked 8). He spins, creating a huge headache for the cars behind. Kal sheds 1 wear in the Casio 60's at 80. At 100, Fabio spends 2 wear as he is pushed to the outside. Chris has no place to go at 100 - he enters Casio on the 60 and attempts a forced pass on the #38 with 1sp (modified 8). His successful pass requires a chance roll to which 3sp is applied (modified 9). The attempt results in a spin in the space from which he started the pass. At 100, Will sheds a wear in the Casio 80's. Todd pulls up to Casio on the line at 140.

Tim B. pulls away from the chase pack... again.

Turn 29 Summary
Tim B. burns off 2 more wear at 140, taking the inside on First curve followed by the lines in S1. At 120, Mike uses the 120's in First curve for free and opts for the inside lane in front of S1. Rando also takes the 120's for free at 120 and stays on the paint of the #25. Tim C. pulls into First Curve at 140 for free. Brad grabs the bumper on the #5 at 160, also entering First curve for free. John stays on the numbers of the #50 as he goes into First Curve at 160.

Kal pushes his engine to 160 on the acceleration table (naked 7) to put some distance on the bottled up cars in the Triangle. Cody comes out of his spin at 40. Fabio continues at 100 to finish Casio, passing the #38 on the straight. Will gets the initiative at 100, pays another wear in Casio on the 60's and settles in between the #17 and the #38. Chris comes out of his spin at 60 in the 60's and tucks in behind the M&M's car. At 100, Todd sheds 2 wear on the Casio line and passes two cars, pulling up next to the #6.
