Brake lights everywhere!

Turn 4 Summary
Cody burns a wear on the Ankara line at 80. Fabio plots 100 then immediately brakes down to 80 with 2sp on the table (modified 1), takes the line then tucks in behind the #38. Steve drops a wear on the line at 80. Todd hits the Ankara line at 80 for a wear. Also at 80, Brad is pushed to the outer 60's for a wear. Mike grabs the Ankara line at 80. Tim plots 120 then drops to 100 with 1sp on the brake table (modified 6) and pulls alongside the #25. Kal plots 100 but with no place to go has to tap the brakes for a wear, grabbing the line. Will comes inside of Kal at 100. John plots 100 and has to brake down to 80 with no place to go, costing him a wear. Chris pulls alongside the #28 at 100. Rando plots 120 but with no room on the track must hit the brakes with 1sp (modified 4).

Will & Kal should be switched on the chart. I've been trying to keep them in race order but forgot to do so - I'll get used to it eventually!

"King Rando" is a dog. Adding insult to injury, I resorted to the brakes. C'mon you dogs in front of me, MUSH! On a clean track I would have plotted 160. In this life I late braked to 100. Gaaaah. Perhaps I should rethink this strategy of leading from behind?

"Race 2"?

What is the RM on? Oh yeah... lack of sleep.

Rando, stop barking already. Too many dogs packed into this narrow track.

Hey folks, can we spread out? This looks like Doug's F4 Bahrain Race, except I can tell which car is mine. :)

What's the problem in F4? Got some Sunday drivers in the front? We're nicely spread out in F3.

Perhaps one jerk in a dark blue and red car took the outside lanes for free in the first turn and it junked the place up...

I think it's about time someone says "Damn you, Fabio!"

Turn 5 Summary

Brad also finishes at 80 and blocks the line. Tim has the initiative at 100, spends 2 wear in the Ankara 60's, and goes inside of the #50 flag car. Denied the line, Mike spends 1 wear in the Ankara 60's at 80. Will drops 2 wear in the Ankara 60's at 100 to pull alongside the #25. At 80, Kal can't use the line and burns off speed in the 60's for a wear. John is bumped off the line at 80 and spends 2 wear in the Ankara 40 to grab the outside lane next to the #3. Chris plots 80 then spends 2 sp on the brake table (modified 3) to enter Ankara on the line. Rando plays it safe at 60 and takes the Ankara line.

Turn 6 Summary

Tim pulls up to Izmir on the line at 120. Brad takes an inside position at 100. With the initiative, Will pulls to the outside of the #50 at 120. Mike tucks in behind Brad at 100. Kal plots 140 but with no place to go (thanks to Mike's scaredy cat plot) has to brake down to 120 with 1sp on the chart (modified 8). The pile-up affects John as well, who plotted 120 then also had to brake down with 1sp (modified 4). Chris finishes the Ankara line at 80. Rando takes the Ankara line for free at 60.

I believe I'm due for a string of bad luck. I used up my entire year's allotment in Spa. I might just putt-putt my way around this track.
